Thank you for what you do, Bradley. A Salesforce Professional locked into a 2-year $50K contract is ridiculous. Salesforce talent needs to thrive, not be impeded (as some companies try to save money). Cheers!

I completely agree! We are a time where employers more than ever need to understand employees have the power! It's a partnership not an employer dictatorship.

You are doing a service to everyone here! Not everyone does what you do. Nothing wrong with helping others succeed for the better.

I really appreciate that! We definitely put out a fair amount of content surrounding salary information for Salesforce pros, but I just feel like that makes an even playing field for employers and employees to understand what to expect.

Not sharing salary only benefits employers from the perspective that employees will have less data points to off from in their negotiating process. That's one reason I chose TS. The liberation people feel when they know what their skills are worth on the market. This employer is upset because their tactics of keeping employees in the dark no longer holds ground. "Employees wise-up" as they say. Keep doing what you are doing.

Truly appreciated and all 💯 true. We have to know what we're worth to make sure we're all paid fairly. Employers should have the same data so they can negotiate fairly with employees too!

Some people will be thankful to get their foot in the door at 50k. People with no experience can’t find Salesforce jobs. Now that decision to quit is the individuals decision. It’s not your fault. If they find better work, better salary for them to quit and pay a penalty then maybe the company isn’t what they expected. I don’t see why they would quit without a better job lined up. My first SF job with no experience was 55 grand. I was beyond excited just to have a salesforce job. You gotta start somewhere. Also there are plenty of other people on You Tube sharing SF salaries. Many blogs as well.

Was this an Indian company? If it's American, it's not exactly hard to figure out what the average salary should be.

It's an American company. It's not hard, but many individuals don't know to look. They don't realize how hot Salesforce is. There are thousands of admins at local companies not realizing what value the skills they have are worth.

I think NLRB may be interested in that company

There are a few different consultancies that do this, this is just the only one that personally reached out to me like I'm somehow their problem.
