Really enjoyed that👍 Such a fantastic hike, and you captured it beautifully! After watching, I still can't decide whether ascending or descending via that path to Pavey Ark is the better option!....but either looks preferable to Jack's Rake, I reckon! 😂
Yeah definitely. I didn’t think Jacks Rake with the kids and dog would work 😀 I think the route down the front of calf crag is easier but it felt a long way.
Funny enough I have got the exact same route planed on OS Maps but in reverse, so, if you did it again would you take the same route or reverse it, or is it no difference? I hope I get the same weather mind, it looked great as did the views, which were amazing, cheers Alan
Ooh that’s a tough one. I think I prefer the way we went. Plenty to look at on the way up as it’s by the side of the river and you get a good break at Stickle Tarn. I’ll ask the rest of the crew if they agree
Awesome video, thanks for sharing!
Just found your channel. Loved the video, stayed in Gt Langdale recently.
Outstanding video, enjoyed watching it very much.
Thanks Dave
Great walk with cracking views, looks like you had a brilliant day. Cheers. Eddie.
Sure did, although it was hard work.

Another brilliant video and hike. A real tough one. Been up the side of Pavey Ark and it's very challenging. Your kids did very well. Regards, Ashley
Thanks Ashley, there wasn’t even that much moaning 😀

Votes are in Alan, we all think that’s the best way to go. Look forward to seeing your video when you do it
@@madlakesadventures603 _ cheers 👍
Nice video. Good commentary. I've put up a fell running comedy on RUclips if you would care to check it out. Best wishes to you and your channel.
Loft Crag innit not Calf Crag?
