Adorable. Thank you, Ara! One never knows when a tiny Electric Chair will come in handy - there is a hardcore criminal element amongst the 1:12 Scale Doll community, and a few Unrepentant Dolls may finally regret their naughty ways. Not that the Addams Family EVER exhibits Criminal Tendencies, of course. Well, rarely. Loving the Faux Electrical Components, and especially the Kill Switch - you totally nailed it, girl. 💗🛠💗
It amazes me how you take such everyday items, such as card stock and an earring finding, and turn them into such wonderful creations. You have such a wonderful imagination and talent!
I must say that having one of these for my dollhouse might just justify me putting in a dungeon...I mean basement addition. Of course I could have it in the "workroom" upstairs. LOveit, so creative.
I love this! I just rewatched the 1991 Addams Family, I forgot how much I loved Wednesday and Morticia. 🥀 I kept thinking about your creations throughout the movie. Like how you have the Dr wrapped up in the vines, and those special details you’ve done to replicate their home. 🖤🖤🖤
As always, you blow me away. You've created a huge fan in me. I've had the benefit of seeing an antique electric chair and I must say you've done a great job! This is going on my make it list! 🤓
Thank you Ginell! I have never seen one in person that I can remember. I just had to pull info from photos I found. I am glad to know it looks so close!😉
A perfect “time out” chair! Lol. Don’t forget the bucket with the wet sponge....per The Green Mile! Your details are amazing👍👍👍 My grandkids are dressing up as Pugsly and Wednesday for Halloween this year...I guess I need to chop off the head of an old doll soon!
😄 Thank you Melody!! How fun that they are dressing up! There are going to me so many Addams costumes this year... I am so excited! And have fun beheading a doll lol!
As always, great video! I watch everything you create. You are the reason that I am able to finish my current "Dead & Breakfast" project. Thanks for your inspiration. I am always amazed by your talent and creativity!
Great to see how you created your electric chair. I was impressed from first seeing it in your videos as to how effective it looked. I’m sure that I’m not the only one now wondering how they can work an electric chair into their own project.
Thank you Sarah... you can just casually tuck it into a random corner of any project ;) haha! Electric chairs are for everyone (according to the Addams)
Wahoo!! A tutorial on the electric chair!! I gave up on my earlier attempts sad to say, but with the step by step instructions ...now next on my to do list. I'm actually taking my grandsons to a Saturday matinee tomorrow to watch the Addams Family movie. As for Halloween, I'll be greeting fiends, friends and family as the red teletubby...lol. My grandsons love those weird lil' guys...I'm only 4'11"...so I believe I can pass for "Po"...😄👍😉❤ Good luck to all that enter the giveaway!
Love it! Great job! Idea for the "Bentley House Drinking Game". Every time Ara says "Panel" or "Tacky Glue"! hehehe. Just kidding! Keep up the great work!
My mom and I love ur videos. We are in a metro mini maker's and I told everyone to subscribe to your videos because you nail it everytime and we look forward to every video. Can't wait to see more of your amazing work. Keep up the amazing job 😊😍
Thank you so much for sharing my channel. It's always great to hear someone liked my videos so much that they told someone else :) I appreciate you both!💖
Fabulous work like always Ara!! I can't tell you how much I enjoy watching your channel, and especially your Adam's project. The spookier the better 😁❤
Their house is a museum When people come to see 'em They really are a scream The Addams Family [snap twice] (Neat) [snap twice] (Sweet) [snap twice] (Petite) So awesome and morbid and perfect! Happy Halloween to All!
Hi Ara! This miniature reminds me of a trip my family and I took (back when I was in the third grade (a long, long time ago)) to Niagara Falls. We spent the day on the Canadian side, and visited The Frankenstein Museum. The museum had life-like animated wax figures and creepy sound effects. Guess what was there? Yep, you guessed it - - an electric chair complete with a writhing wax figure, electrical sparkes and sounds, and fake smoke. Spooky!! Scared my 8 year old self practically to death. Anyway, thanks for the memory and the chuckle.
I have really enjoyed watching your aging process on the pieces. It has helped me with my abandoned barber shop project. I actually went back and started watching the original b&w series of the Adams Family. I haven’t watched those since I was a kid. I have finally finished the Munsters. I would love to see you do their house. Keep up the good work it looks great.
Another brilliant build. Highly detailed and very convincing - you might not know how a real chair would work - but yours is creepy and so effective looking - no one (unless they're in the know) would realise it wasn't how they work. I love the fake metal hack too Thank you for another very entertaining video - looking forward to the next one. x
This is amazing!!! And its so cute I just want one in my house as decor!! Couldn't you just see peoples faces when the sit on your sofa and look up and see that on a shelf!!!! Lol. Quite a conversation that'll be! !!!
I totally enjoy your videos. I'm learning a lot from you & I'm excited to get started on my own projects. Thank you so much for sharing your time & talents with us.
Wonderful tutorial as usual. I love watching your videos for various techniques and ideas. My favorite part of the movie where uncle fester loses his memory is the scene between Wednesday and the Girl Scouts when the girl asks Wednesday of her lemonade was made of real lemons and Wednesday asked if the cookies were made of real Girl Scouts. :-)
Lol! Very nice! I'm always impressed with the little details that you think of when creating the small furniture. Having a mini electric chair would be a hoot!
What an awesome tutorial! This is amazing! My husband, my son and I are all dressing up as spiderman and woman 😉. My son is obsessed with spiderman lately. He's 2. I watched your video on tips for little ones and your miniatures. I've included his help in some parts of it. Your video helped alot.
Thank you for the Miniature Electric Chair tutorial! Your tutorials are always easy to follow and look so realistic! I love the 1991 movie however as of yet I haven't seen the new 3D Addams Family movie. I am going to hold off on judging which is my favorite until I see it. Thank you so much for sharing!♥️♥️♥️
Congratulations Ariel! You won the Electric Chair give-away! Please get in contact with me through my business email which you can find in the 'About Me' section here on my channel ;)
Love the chair. When I was younger ( a lot younger) I had very long hair and I used to comb it in front and put glasses on so I looked like cousin IT. It was great fun and my family had a laugh.
This was really fun! And your best Addams-video? Hm.. I know it was the latest, but I just loved the copperroof and when Heather´s fens came up. Just perfect! Spot on . " Pricken över i:et " as we´re saying in Sweden. Mia
OMG how cute!! Now I can imagine putting this chair in the attic or basement, and only if I could shrink down a few people I know down to 1/12 th size and invite them to have a seat!! 😆 I have not seen the new Addams Family movie yet but would like to. I do remember watching the series when it was on tv. What a fantastic giveaway, and good luck to everyone!
This would be perfect for the haunted house I have been working on. Got a old dollhouse from a swap meet and transforming it! I love your videos and Addam's family house!!
I’m so sad this give away is closed. My daughter would have loved to own this. I’m checking Etsy. I know I could not make such a wonderful piece. Love this. ❤️
I love this tutorial ... great job! I'm planning to make a Halloween room box for my grandson next year, and I'm going to have to make this chair for it! 😊
It's been a lot of work but really fun at the same time. One more to go!! By the way I am a huge Legend of Zelda fan... I hope to make a Hyrule scene someday!!
This was so fun to watch and really very simple in the long run. If I need an electric chair in the future, THIS will be my go to video. :-) Just as an aside, I was so surprised to see that you made the hood because I always thought that it was the reflector part of a broken flashlight! I have saved some of those in the past because I just keep thinking that "I could make a mini out of this..."
That's a really genius idea Catherine! If I had thought of that I probably would have gone for the flashlight piece. My husband only has a thousand of them😄
Long time ago I was a scrapbooking person but I wanted a new hobby for my retirement in a few years Une maison de poupée ...pouquoi pas?! I did my research and I found a world of miniaturists so very talented!!! I also found your youtube channel ,Ara!...Iam addicted! Your Addam House is a masterpiece. I knew almost nothing about the Addams (I'm a french speaking canadian near Montreal) but be sure i certainly will see that movie I dont have a dollhouse yet ,but your electric chair will be part of my newly collection of miniature that i started this summer
Hey Ara this is so awesome. I'm making a spooky Halloween village with my son and this is perfect to put in one of the houses. Thank you for this tutorial
That is amazing. It always amazes me how you choose which materials to use for which piece of a project. I struggle with that part. For Halloween, I'm going to dress up like a witch (oh wait, that's what I wear every day LOL) and I'm dressing up my dog as Beetlejuice (I'd dress my cat as Lydia but that would last about 4 nanoseconds. I liked both Addams Family movies with Angelica Houston and Christina Ricci. (They were amazing as Morticia and Wednesday, and I think the casting was done well.) There was a time when one couldn't have a rational conversation with me because I'd be making references to the films and quoting the most memorable one-liners. LOL I always enjoy your videos so much. Thank you for all the wonderful ideas!
Oh my goodness I hope you post a pic of you and your dog! Sounds adorable! I quote the movies in my head all the time lol. And sometimes out loud to my husband... lucky him 😄😄
I wish that I had your tutorials to use when I was trying to make my Munsters house out of a shoe box in 1963 ;-) We didn't get the channel that the Addams Family was on.
Such a detailed chair! Very cool and scary. If all goes well, today we are going to go see the Addams family movie, so really looking forward to that. As for which is my favorite Halloween movie... I would have to say it's between Beetlejuice and The Nightmare Before Christmas. Those two movies are always in my list to watch on Halloween week. 😁
Your Addams Family Project is amazing....I keep coming back to your channel for more and more ideas. I'm hoping to do a Dark Magic Shoppe similar to those in Diagon Alley & your channel has really inspired me. Would love to have an electric chair to add to my project. Just need to get creative now.
Yay!! Well done! Thanks for showing your techniques for this! I think I’ll be working on my own chair this weekend while I’m trying to recover from this ick I’ve had. And I’m going to try to be Morticia for Halloween!
Well this was a shocking tutorial! You are so talented in planning and executing your projects! Love to watch! Wish I had found this tutorial earlier would have liked to get in on the giveaway! Next time! lol!
I have not seen the new Addams Family movie yet. I wait until it comes on tv because I’m in a wheelchair, it is more comfortable to watch movies at home. Great chair but I will sit out this giveaway and let someone else win. Thanks for sharing your talent with us Ara. Have a wonderful weekend.🥰
Sometimes, when chatting on text with friends and they ask what I’m doing, I pause wondering if I should say “watching an electric chair tutorial”, and then I remember, that’s why they are my friends!
💗🛠💗
For sure lol!! With the kind of projects I make I will always need a way to keep the dolls in line😄 So glad you enjoyed the build my friend💖💖
This totally electrified my morning, thank you for the tutorial. It totally chaired me up.
You're killin' me😂
It amazes me how you take such everyday items, such as card stock and an earring finding, and turn them into such wonderful creations. You have such a wonderful imagination and talent!
Thank you! I love that part of making minis too!! ;)
I must say that having one of these for my dollhouse might just justify me putting in a dungeon...I mean basement addition. Of course I could have it in the "workroom" upstairs. LOveit, so creative.
Thank you Heather! Mine lives in the attic but a basement is a great place for one too!!
That looks pretty nice. Now I want to make other torture equipment 😁.
Thank you! I have another video where I make an iron maiden ;)
You are so talented!! I love your videos!!
Thank you Karen!! I appreciate it!

Yay!! Well done! Thanks for showing your techniques for this! I think I’ll be working on my own chair this weekend while I’m trying to recover from this ick I’ve had.
And I’m going to try to be Morticia for Halloween!
Oh no! I hope you feel better!! I would love to see pics of your outfit and chair build if possible! So fun!
The chair turned out great 👍😀
Thank you💖
Awesome job Ara ! I just love spooky things ! I haven't seen the new movie yet but I plan to !
Thank you Lara! I haven't seen it yet either (I am not one for opening weekends lol)
U sank my battleship! Great job, looks awesome 😍
Haha I read that in Uncle Festers voice! Thank you!
Well this was a shocking tutorial! You are so talented in planning and executing your projects! Love to watch! Wish I had found this tutorial earlier would have liked to get in on the giveaway! Next time! lol!
Yes there will definitely be more give-aways as we go along! So glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you so much Dianne! Movies at home are way better because you can pause and get snacks too (reasonably priced snacks ;)
Sometimes, when chatting on text with friends and they ask what I’m doing, I pause wondering if I should say “watching an electric chair tutorial”, and then I remember, that’s why they are my friends!
I have the same issue lol... except it's "I'm making an electric chair" 😀
2nd time watching. Such a cool electric chair. Love it!
Nice! I love your attention to detail! Keep up the good work! ❤️
Thank you Sondra!
Bentley House Minis you bet!
