This is not abt Indian culture...it's abt sunny sir humility and stature. Let's not blow horns abt Indian culture...who defines culture it's people....in India people r both good n bad.
I have seen times from Sunny Gavaskar to Sachin Tendulkar to Virat Kohli, one thing I can say confidentially,no one can ever match Sunil Gavaskar, till date he is my favourite batsman
I have met him couple of times out side the cricket field. He was a gentleman cricketer and very athletic one. Those days there were none in Indian cricket team who could be described as real fielder. I have seen him at indore fielding at covers , he chased a shot to mid on and got to ball before mid wicket fielder got there. He was king then and died king of cricket.
Mr.Gavaskar was on Radio, in Jaimala,a programme for Indian soldiers, as fauji bhaiyo ke liye. If memory does,nt betray ,in late seventies or early eighties of last century. Mr.Gavaskar mentioned that Indian cricket team was coming out to field led by Tiger Pataudi. Mr.Gavaskar was taken by surprise to hear tiger in a very low tone humming a popular song. The song was "" Itni jaldi si kya hai sakhi sajan ki Ghar janeki..."". Can any journalist remind our youth days hero about this observation.? Love to hear the witty legend,s response. Like to know the
After retirement Pataudi was writing column as a journalist, but he was complaining that Gavasker who was captain was deliberately avoiding giving interview to him
Asa long time follower and having seen players from Tiger Pataudi to Virat Kohli inclusive of Sunny, Viswanath and Tendulkar, Tiger remains the best batsman who played with one eye. NO HELMET OR SHIN GUARD. He played fast bowlers with aggression and technique. TIGER IS THE QUINTESSENTIAL INDIAN CRICKET CAPTAIN WHO HAD INFUSED SENSE OF NATIONAL INTEGRATION.
@@pataudi8025 Yes. With one eye he scored test runs at avg 37. If he played withcomplete eyesight...he would have avged atleast 45 ...which was as good as 55 today. His captaincy was the attitude and game turner in indian cricket. He was the only player directly taken as a captain in the team at the age of 21. His fielding style in covers was something which was never seen before...He was the hero of 1960s........those who are 70 years plus today can elaborate Tigers greatness better.
To hear the greatest Indian cricketer speak so humbly of his senior; that is Indian culture. Namasthe Sunnyji.
Pataudi was a royalty. He always maintained his royal dignity.

Pataudi didn’t have any pace bowler otherwise he was very good captain.
Ye gavaskar ne padmakar shivalkar ko ek hi chance nahi Diya.rajindersingh ghoyel ko chance nahi Diya.
ooohhh, the anchor is a total turn on!
Because pataudi is from nawab kandan he is praised.
Why people don't appreciate Vishwanath prasanna Bedi.
They all do my friend. Just that even Vishwanath told that Pataudi was a 100 years ahead batsman.
@@pataudi8025 They have to go with the trend and say such things to keep accepted.
This is political correctness.
PATAUDI WAS THE FIRST MATCH WINNER FOR INDIA.
Are ye mere channel par Sunny gavaskar Kya kar Rahe hai. Iske liye bhi mai modiji ko doshi manta hu.
Hahahahahahahahahahaah
Nawab khandan say tha, bass yehi uska address aur qualification tha.Koi bada batsman nai tha.Ek ye Tiger doosra tiger memen yaad aatha hai.
Bhai uski batting ke hi wajah se usse hundred years ahead kehte the
