The Prince of Garlemald | Zenos Yae Galvus Tribute

This was a long awaited project I have been working on ever since the release of Endwalker. I have loved his character in Stormblood and was glad that he was given more in Endwalker. I truly hope you enjoy this tribute and understand what I tried to do in my POV.

How do you get someone who only cares about fighting to the death to do good in the long term? Serious question. While it would have been cool to recruit him, given he doesn't care about anything besides challenging fights, I don't see how it'd work.

And he's not like Vegeta who had the capacity to grow. His fight with the warrior of light is truly all he cared about. Perhaps they could work together in moments but he couldn't join the WoL long term. Whereas Vegeta and Goku love fighting they don't revel in it like Zenos does. For Zenos only a fight to the death matters, all or nothing. So they could get moments of working together but that's it. And I love Zeno's character I think he got a fitting end.

Zenos was an anti-hero like none other, he had not wavered from his meaning of life for even but a moment. Ever pursuing that moment that he deigns the meaning of his life.

I don't think I'd consider him one of the worst, but he is one of the most unique, he's a dark mirror of the player themselves, not the character we play, he just wants a good challenge, and doesn't care who he has to go through to get it

Not really given that FF3's villain is so forgotten and forgettable the poster child of 3 is one of the first bosses, The Cloud of Darkness, FF5's big bad is a sentient tree with no motivation, FF6's big bad has no literal motivation just chaos and violence. FF7's big bad is an alien in a pod and her oedipus driven son who goes insane when he finds out he's half alien and goes Kill all Humans, 9s Is right out of nowhere, nobody remembers the big bad of 13 so yeah no, Zenos is pretty fucking good.
