The Aprilia SR 150 came as a godsend for all the enthusiasts looking for a sporty gearless scooter in the otherwise boring and economy-conscious segment. But Aprilia did not stop there; they went ahead and launched an even peppier variant called the SR 150 Race. It came with a more responsive transmission, racier graphics and a Rs 3,000 price hike. But, should you buy the Aprilia SR 150 Race over the standard SR 150 scooter? Watch the video and find out.
The Aprilia SR 150 Race has the same engine and body as the standard SR 150 but the grey colour, orange wheels and the racier graphics make a huge difference in its appeal. The motor is a 154.8cc air-cooled single which makes 10.5PS of power and 11.4Nm of torque. The engineers have tweaked the transmission to enable the bike to get off the line faster, but in turn, have traded off a few digits from the top speed.

Looking for a upgrade from 3yr old VespaS125. Was considering some 150CC bikes. Bt don’t want to lose the convenience of a scooter (Auto gear 4 city traffic & storage space). So deciding for SR150. Is it the right decision. & is SR150 highway capable ??

Don't buy this unless you are in some of the well known cities. The showroom which I took this vehicle closed and now I have to travel around 300km for a service. All the parts are expensive the tyres will cost you above 3000 and you cannot buy those outside.

is Aprilia as durable as activa and access..
Dont compare it with activas, jupiter and access. This is a sport one, you have to take care a lot. The suspension is set for only good roads, so even any small pothole you can feel the bump. eventually it can damage the bike internal bolts. When it crash first the front body will get damaged(depends upon the crash) but i don't see any major accidents coz this handles pretty well.
Bro, don't hear the words of activa fan boys.. Comparing brand Aprilia with Honda is something like comparing a Lamborghini with maruti suzuki.. brand and performance no compromise..
Nope... it's a sport scooter it's geared towards cornering and ripping up rather than commuting
