My former stepsister was getting her Masters as a Speech Pathologist, so his "heavy accent" isn't hard to understand compared to those that struggle daily with a real speech impediment. Not judging anyone who has difficulty understanding, I just had a different experience with helping her and her clients. World is a matter of perception, kind of deal.
