    Puberty is awful on your singing. Watch Lex regain his falsetto (head voice) over a 2 1/2 year period in 4 different lessons. If he can do it with a deep bass voice, so can you!

    Nice video. If I was a vocal coach, based on the video that I've heard of him, I would put him in the flipper category.

    • @PowerToSing
      @PowerToSing  3 года назад

      It's tricky. Yes he flipped, but the question is why? Did he just let go? or was the larynx going up and or chest voice pulled up?

    • @maxsherritt8242
      @maxsherritt8242 3 года назад

      @@PowerToSing If not flip, then i would say he's singing light and the larynx rises, then the voice let's go due to the tendency of light and wanting to let go too much. That would be my guess. It doesn't sound like he's trying pull chest voice, to me at least.
      It did however sound like he was pulling chest a little bit when he went into his song and started to get a little louder. Maybe it's a combination of singing light and airy and trying to pull chest at the same time while sounding breathy.

    Hi, Chuck! I purchased the fast track vocal type exercises after learning what voice type I had. I didn’t receive or see a link/video attached other than the advert to upgrade to monthly lessons.

    Hi Chuck just want to thank you for uploading this video it's very encouraging and helpful, but I have one clarification. I have been doing these exercises and my range has increased significantly but it is still in my chest voice am I doing these exercises wrong or will I gradually start feeling the resonance shift to my head when my range gets higher.

    • @PowerToSing
      @PowerToSing  2 года назад

      Doing the exercises will enable you to sing from chest through the bridge and into head voice without strain, and without cracking or breaking. It's hard to know what is happening in your voice without hearing you. How old are you? Here are some other helps: ruclips.net/p/PLc6YT-50Ji8HOB7VSpjcPMEV6IKiNB5Gz

    Hi Chuck my voice hasnt learned to mix and bridge yet. When I do the exercises should I try staying in chest voice whilst trying to keep my larynx down or do I make my voice break in falsetto. I do not fully understand how to get my voice to start learning how to bridge.

    • @PowerToSing
      @PowerToSing  2 года назад

      Do the exercises as precisely demonstrated as possible. You want to allow your voice to go into head voice. The exercises will cause this to happen. But you don't want to crack/break into falsetto. Here are so more videos to help you. Also, private lessons will help take the guess work out of your practice. ruclips.net/p/PLc6YT-50Ji8HOB7VSpjcPMEV6IKiNB5Gz

    • @PowerToSing
      @PowerToSing  2 года назад

      @@jakeunderwood7980 No. The exercises must be done and demonstrated. Otherwise, they might never help. Done correctly, yes, you will learn to bridge.

    Hello can you please teach on how to develop and sing with a whistle register

    • @PowerToSing
      @PowerToSing  3 года назад

      My opinion is that it is the voice you use in your 4th bridge, which means the third, second and first bridges must be correct also and singing in a mix and later in head voice. If these things aren't done correctly, then it's likely just disconnected into falsetto, which I discourage. So the starting point is here: Watch this video and follow the directions: ruclips.net/video/d0Ob8WGmvPc/видео.html

    When I do these exercises should I try to force my voice to stay connected or do I just let the break happen when it feels like Im going to.

    • @PowerToSing
      @PowerToSing  2 года назад

      Usually when it feels like you are going to break, it is because the larynx is coming up. Keep the dumb, or imposed larynx sound. That helps. It's extra challenging when you are going through the vocal change. Be sure to watch all these: ruclips.net/p/PLc6YT-50Ji8HOB7VSpjcPMEV6IKiNB5Gz

    How to make your singing voice sound completely different from your speaking voice?

    Singing voices can change for boys as they grow older. But is it the same for girls?

    • @PowerToSing
      @PowerToSing  3 года назад

      Yes but not as extreme. When girls mature their cords change from the radius of a dime to a nickel. Boys changes from a dime to a quarter and their cords become thicker and "heavier".

      @@PowerToSing Sir, I can sing in falsetto/headvoice without giving a little strain. Same in the case of chest and deep voice, but when it comes to transition between chest to head, I can't, I start to feel pain on jaws and larynx
