Great compilation! Loved the vibe, and Cassetteer & The Lightning Kids' Somebody To Love was definitely a stand out for me! Proud to be a part of it ^-^
I am glad you liked it! Your song really had a perfect vibe for this mix and I did not hesitate a second in placing it in Also thanks for sharing your favorite! Will add it to our playlist!
Opens up with a banger -- when I looked up the song for the original video, looks like it was posted a year ago and only has 18 views. What a shame -- how did you come across this gem? I love it!
Being artists of the retro scene ourselves we have many contacts with different labels and, for this specific song, we are proud of being Label mates with Roberto Montoya in RetroSynth Records . We fell in love with Void the first time we heard it quite a long time ago and I personally consider the whole EP from who that song is taken (the EP is titled "Surrender", you can get to it via the link in the description), to be a Masterpiece of electronic pop, with all three of the songs being one better than the other. In my mind it is a Crime that to this day. music such as it, went totally unnoticed, with basically zero support on Bandcamp if not the one from ourselves. It actually made me think of a future project that I want to bring to this channel in the future, by creating customized visualizers for what we consider to be "perfect albums", sharing the whole thing from the first to last song. I'll also consider it to be your favorite and add a +1 to it and add it to our listener-based playlist
I have talked directly with Jonny about this. He confirmed that the vocals used in the song are from a vocal sample pack that he also directly linked to me: blackoctopus-sound.com/product/echoes-by-holly-drummond-royalty-free-vocals/ Being it a sample pack, it is very likely other artists might have used it too, but it is not a remix of any sort. As per the "why" the vocalist is not credited, is because the license for the sample pack strictly forbid artists from crediting the vocalist in the finished songs. Hope that clears it up and that you enjoyed the compilation!

Wait a moment
23:13 It's actually a remix of ARForest - Scintillate, why aren't there any credit to it even on the bandcamp page?
