That feeling when the youtube gods finally put quality into my recommended page... On a personal note, I'd kill for something that's early 90's NASCAR/Days of Thunder themed. LOVE WHAT YOU DO!!!
Not just the cars, but the engineers and executives behind them. Today, the industry is ran by women pushing safety and "technology" into SUV's for people who don't need them. Where are all the sporty RWD two-door coupes? Now you're lucky if they offer a FWD hybrid sedan. A manual transmission used to be the cheap option. Now it's a $3k upgrade.
@@MisterMonsieur the entire concept of driving is not as fashionable as it was even 10 years ago. My generation seems to be borderline scared of cars or any sort of aspiration beyond living in the city.
@@MisterMonsieur I was looking for a second car last year, weighing my options with a loan for the new Supra manual or the new Z manual. Ended up getting a 1987 turbocharged to seat coupe without a loan. Maybe I'm part of why they don't make new cars like my old Mazda because I bought used instead of paying Nissan or Toyota/BMW for making new sports cars, but I love the level of features the old cars have. Light weight, just enough power, 5 speed manual, a proper clutch pack LSD from factory, air conditioning, radio, cassette tape deck, and the Big Fat Tachometer right in the center of my analog gauge cluster. No OBD-II, no touch screen TV in the console. Just a driving machine. I'll probably just keep cars that came out before 2010 running for me rather than buying new.
Car culture is also alive and well IF you know where to look. There are some nice Saturday morning car meets around, but you have to find the good ones by talking to people face to face. If they trust you not to turn it into a take over or a rowdy show, they will tell you where to go. It's a little old fashioned; but hey, that's how they did it in the good ol' days.
I was listening to this while flying down the hill by my apartment on my longboard. The sun was just about to set and the wind was in my favor! Great tunes!
Ik this is more like racing music, but listening to this while chasing an F-104 on a british eletric lightning at above sonic speeds in war thunder is incredible.
Perfect tune to rush to autozone for the last battery in stock for your dying-daily ! 🚗
That little drop of sweat when you turn the key and nothing happens...

It was the stories and race cars of this era that made me love motorsport. Car culture is a shadow of what it once was.
So for are sake let us not lose that history… and when such instances of ever culture do flourish we should treasure them…

Are you going to make another album soon. 4/5 of my Spotify wrapped was songs from racing in the USA!
That's awesome! Thanks! There will be another album for sure at some point. First I'll probably do a couple of singles.
