No, i dont think i will.
I love this tune but actually I am searching for the vocal version of it, does anybody know it? It was with a voice of a woman, sounds a little bit sad/melancholic.

MERRY SYNTHMAS FROM UK !
Thank you for this track bro !
You an pure ninja !
@@carinah2212 it's from another song called Sometimes the Good Guy's Finish First ( ╹▽╹ )
2024 here, this song is still pure magic!! To you reading this, I hope you have a great day!!
Thank You. You Too
Thank you! You too!
My son loves Synth Wave music. Kids in school consider him weird for not being into what everybody else is. He doesn’t care though.
Your son is awesome!!!
@@neros77 thank you. I humbly agree. I feel very lucky.
Yea
Let them hate all they want...
@@Retroman2000 right. His grades are perfect and his computer skills are of an adult level 🤷🏻♂️
I've been watching this video for 12 years and I still love it
If you love it so much why don't you marry it then?
Put this in GTA 6 please.....
A whole synthwave station would be my dream
:sunglasses:
YES! Vice city's teleport to go back to 80s 😎😁
You get my vote on this!
There's a YT channel called Nightride FM that does synthwave mixes, R* should contract them to do a mix-set like FlyLoFM. I think pretty much every sub to that channel's made their voice clear on that, so I wouldn't be surprised to see R* taking notice and giving them a station in 6.
Big you maybe from San Andreas
And I hate it but
I like this vice city thought
Synthwave is basically a time machine.
A lot of modern synthwave is basically repetitive, cliché and dynamically compressed to death.
Come on dude. It’s way better than most everything out there these days. At least it sounds good unlike dubstep which makes me want to murder stereos and it’s not degenerate like most pop and all rap.
So honestly, while some of it can definitely get repetitive, there’s still a great variety and it actually makes you happy.
true ;)
*Like masturbating in a time machine. #FuckingCatalinaWineMixer
It'll always be the 80s if we have this music.
"2021" and it's still going strong this is truly amazing!!!!

Its too good not to go strong till the end of time

In case anyone was wondering like I was, the lyrics at the end are saying “That’s the way we spell success!” Which is a sample from Pat Benatar’s song “Sometimes the Good Guys Finish First”.

Thank you Kyra, listening to it now. Nice avatar by the way.
I listen to this song with love after fighting for 7 years to get a specific job, I finally made it. In Colombia, getting a well-paid job is quite complicated. Therefore, this is the way we spell success!
well done, sir.
You rock mate! Have the best life imaginable!

Congratulations, especially in this climate literally and figuratively speaking.
These songs are strange, they're joyful, but leave me feeling nostalgic for a time that may never have existed in the way this song would make you think.
Nicely said
Oh, but it did.
This right here kids is the inventor of "Synthwave"
Hmm...I think not ;-) What about College and let's say Sferro, Mitch Murder, Miami Nights 1984, Lost Years and Lazerhawk?
He ain't lying. I remember seeing this on Beatport back in 2007. This was the first "synthwave" song to come out before the genre was branded that.
3 million views? Those are mainstream numbers. Yet somehow I feel like synthwave is still an underground thing.
Who cares?
Who fucks?
crcaccounts I don't know how this genre is so unnoticed even though it has such a large fanbase
Soon it will rise to the sky, it's a matter of time, and we're close

I'm glad to see that even after over a decade people are still discovering this beautiful song. It really should be heard by everyone. It's an underrated masterpiece.
Being someone who grew up in the 80s and looking at the world now, it's obvious we peaked back then.
2016 feels so far away...
das ist wonder bar!
For anyone wondering what they're saying at the end of the song, it's "That's the way we spell success" 👌
Thank You !!

I had this track playing on the cassette player cruising LA nights in my white Testarossa, in 1984.
Just realized that this video was uploaded 10 years ago. Woah
Yes pretty amazing!!!
Same bro, same
I felt adulthood when I saw this.
And the song came out in 2007, including a vinyl release. It's way, way ahead of the whole synthwave game of recent times.
Still good.
Now this nostalgic-sounding music is actually nostalgic, over a decade...
It's retro now LOL
Damn 13 years ago and you still upload videos on this channel
This is crazy discipline
You are amazing!!!!!!!!!
The mood this guy had to be in to create this. You'd have to be sitting in a sweet spot mentally to produce something like this song.

as we get closer to 2020s...plz god let it be 80s retro-synth era return :')
Nope it looks like rappers with scribble tattoos on their face that can't spell their own lyrics are still gonna be popular with this generation.
it will persist now, that's human psychology. being in future and always suffering we realised how good the 70s and 80s were and to live that era we listen to these songs.

I was born in 1978. It's amazing to me that the sound of my youth is so prevalent today.
Everyone knows deep down that the 1980's were the last gasp of decency in humanity.
A decade ago some god uploaded this song to youtube and ended alot of people's lifelong quests to find, listen and re-live this glorious song..
Someone needs to o open a club that plays this shit Friday Saturday nights.
Agreed! I'd definitely show up to Synthwave Saturday!

neros77 Not really though, columbus wasn't the first to the americas, the wright brothers weren't the first to fly and edison didn't create the telephone. Sometimes it's a matter of circumstance and recognition. History books are written by the winners not the losers.

"Thats the way we spell success"
I thought it said all the boys like sluts
Thank you! "Blast away these plastic sluts" was the closest I was getting.
Brett Murray that’s sick! But fits perfectly 😆
I thought they said "that's the way we smash dissent". Sounded kinda dark for such a chill tune.
These are all good interpretations, but Craig is the winner with "all the boys like sluts" which is a great sentiment and probably worthy of a song in its own right. Keep up the good work Craig!
this was my jam 10yrs ago in highshcool glad i re-found it.
something very melancholy about this track, the woman dancing by herself in a parallel eternal 80s, pulsing in and out of existence. Reminds me of some people I've seen at nightclubs, maybe this is where they go when they die
Alexander Rewi Dales i hear it too. i heard it said "life is the major key, death is the minor." i dont know anything about music theory, but there are some tracks that just have a somber quality to them, though it often adds to the beauty of it.
Awesome reply man.

Synthwave alongside vaporwave and darksynth are JUST starting to become nostalgic in of themselves as they enter their teens. Nostalgia for nostalgia itself.
This is my favourite song of all time. Im 1983. love it!!
I keep coming back to this song, literally every couple of months for probably 10 years now. So cool
Гениальная Вещь. Шикарно!!!
Nice for those nite cruises downtown😮
Cant believe it’s been 12 years. Its like nostalgia of nostalgia!
Cant believe this came out in 2010. This was the first modern sythn song I ever found, which led me deeper down the rabbit hole. Its been almost 4 or 5 years into the genre for me, and I still come back to this song. Theres just something about this song that makes you feel nostalgic and longing for something you cant even place a name on.
You think its the 80s, but how many of us grew up in the 90s and not the 80s? It actually communicates with something primal within us, like an instinctual memory in youre dna that gives us a feeling of longing for a past and a time when everything was new,.
When the weight of life didn't wear us down and hang on to you're shoulders like a constant reminder of mortality.
For some reason this song speaks to the human soul, and I think that makes it one of the greatest synthwave/cyberpunk songs.
Well articulated! Bravo! Any other song to suggest that brings you similar feelings?
That feeling is called Anemoia
This actually using a sample from Modern Talkin - You're my heart, you're my soul. So that's where the sound comes from.
