    I love to play Oblivion and the area around Chorrol is my character's 'stomping ground' one could say. To see Chorrol after 200 years brings back all the moments I've loved. S'darri sitting under the Great Oak listening to the locals gossip, the Oak and Crosier where he stops for supper while in town. Strolling the streets while the Chapel bells peal the hour. But at the begining, seeing Battlehorn Castle, and the moment of reflection that came with it. That moment of "I'm home. This is S'darri's home."

    Hope you include the strange & awesome chime sound effects found in the original Alyeid ruins. (metal triangle ting, like the sound of a giant crystal) it nailed the mysterious ancient missing elf leftover magic essence for me in Oblivion. That & giggling spriggons (nothing instilled a feeling of dread like the mocking Oblivion Spriggons as they giggled playfully while quickly sapping your health) Helped to make them seem 3D, & your the intruder in their wood. So much better than the knock down targets found in Skyrim.
    Really miss the feeling of coming upon a huge patch of wild flowers in the sun right as the music hit that orchestral jaunty bit in Oblivion, great emotional contrast to dungeon diving.
    The evening storms were pretty intense too, almost forced you inside. One sound effect they missed out on was rain hitting the roof if you were in a smaller building. Nothing cozier than that coupled w/a crackling fire.
    Oblivion was all about the subtle sound effects & music

It's interesting, because it provides a fresh experience for the game, inns, food and horses become useful and relieveing; and also, concerning the climate, cold survival will be okay at night, but in southern regions like Elseweyr and Hammerfell it will require to implement a heat, drought and thirst survival.

      yeah, but the benefit of our system is that you can do it easily and quickly. I put that boss fight together in one day thanks to the framework our implementers have made. Sorry I didn't see this comment earlier.

If I had to choose a region to live in Tamriel it would be the colovian estates, long live the empire! Lol, The city looks great guys keep up the good work, and pls tell me I can buy a house In this nice city of yours. Btw while building cyrodiil did u guys take any inspiration from mods that were in oblivion such as city overhaul mods or landscape or just did a fresh take

    I really wish Beyond Skyrim team would be able to give at least a very rough idea on when the production is going to be completed - while being aware of possibly delays, of course. I understand such estimates cannot be made until majority of the works are done yet at this point of progress I think BS team would vaguely know when. At least I wish to know if it's going to take a few 1-2 more years or extra lengthy 4-5 years like it's been since Bruma release..

      Like in Beyond Skyrim: Bruma all NPCs will get custom voices by human voice actors.
      But that is one of the last things done.

    Do not expect perfection, there will always be some bugs that slip through which is unavoidable. If you want to clear ALL bugs (or as many possible) then I should be in the testing team.. im good in rooting out bugs

    This is absolutely amazing.
    Couple questions if anyone is monitoring the comments:
    Is this one HUGE world-space? Like can I browse the whole overworld map from the map screen?
    Are you guys/girls implementing this in a strictly vanilla sense? Or will you be taking advantage of things like SKSE?

    • @K_1_T_S_U_N_E
      @K_1_T_S_U_N_E Год назад

      A.) is this one HUGE world-space?
      No, it's not. Skyrims engine doesn't allow maps to be larger than 128x128 cells for comparison Skyrim map is 118x94 cells.
      Google "Beyond Skyrim Worldspace" for a map.
      B. Will Beyond Skyrim use SKSE?
      No, Beyond Skyrims entire philosophy is plug and play.
      No other mods are used or required.

    • @Argornash
      @Argornash Год назад +1

      It's mostly one worldspace, the very far east had to be split off in a reasonable way into a separate one almost like the skyrim dawnguard castle place, but Cyrodiil, Valenwood, and Elsweyr are all in one worldspace, so if you ever get all three downloaded someday you can walk between them all no load screens.

    1. Is this available for download?
    2. Any news on the High Rock map? I am 100% looking forward to that as I am a Breton main. I always had wishes to visit High Rock in Skyrim and maybe have a player house there!

      We won't be releasing the province in chunks, next release from our team will be all of Cyrodiil. A fair bit away still but we're working at a very good pace. For updates about High Rock, you should check out our discord, they've posted a few times for this advent calendar. :)

    There should be a Dark Brotherhood quest line where you rebuild the the Brotherhood.
    Like you go on a quest to find all of the DB sanctuary's. And then recruit new members.

    • @Argornash

      That's something that might be made by devs post-release or a good candidate for external mods for the release for sure. It won't be part of the main release, however.
