Does the 'new from visible' option create a layer with an image containing images from all other layers that are visible? I haven't seen that option before.

I have watched others but they just don't seem to cover it very well either they don't talk and play that nasty free music on a loop that drives you away or they skip over stuff. Hello Nick i was just wondering. How would I go about putting letters or words on a face of an object. For example i'm trying to put a letter on the side of an isometric cube. What tool and process would I have to use to accomplish this?
Layer->Crop to Content not available? Is this something I need to install as a plugin perhaps? Or is it a Gimp version thing? I'm using Gimp 2.8.22. OK, figured it out. I installed Gimp 2.10.12 from the Ubuntu Software app and now I have it.
Hello Nick, Inkscape is suddenly not having access to new downloaded fonts in Windows 10. New fonts are in my PC but don't appear in Inkscape. I've looked everywhere online for a solution, but nothing yet. Would you know how to remedy the situation? Thanks
Hey, I'm doing this project again but I'm unable to select color to alpha. EDIT: Nevermind, emboss as well, got messed up as well so I had to hit undo several times and I was able to select Color to Alpha when I got back to that step.
Your videos are my go to guides for gimp as I’m new to photo editing but audio and video editing I’ve been doing for a long time so I beg you, please, get a pop filter and de es your videos because your “s” sounds are SO LOUD. Lol besides that you’re amazing and please keep making more guides

When I opened up the 'lava' image the layers disappeared
They didn't really disappear. You might have opened the lava image in another window. Next time click on open as layers to avoid it.
