Thank you very much for this tutorial. One thing I*d like to add is, you gotta make sure that ,,invert mask''' is activated when adding the layer mask. It gave me a really hard time to figure out my mistake as I think it is genuinly deactivated. Cheers my friend.!
Thanks for a great tutorial. Could you please show how to have an invisible background ... or at least just a plain white background so it could be made invisible (apologies if that's a dumb request).
Okay, but I've done this a million times and it once how I wanted to but the image wasn't big enough so I had to redo it and can't figure this out. How do you keep your original background and only apply the picture over the text?
Why do my fonts stay grey, but the surrounding image stay put, even though I've followed the same instructions to the letter? Everything looks correct until 2:30 then everything is just opposite to what should be showing.
i had the same issue so I was wondering if he missed a step (he misspoke a couple times in the video so it's likely) but I solved it just by inverting my text selection before making the mask later and it worked fine
Great video! It worked out very well except for just a last step. When I add a gradient background, the part I made with an eraser tool disappears. Could you tell me what is the problem?
Thank you so much! I have watched so many tutorials that didn't show these easy steps. LEGEND!
Super sir you are really great

Thank you for this tutorial! This is the only one that I have found that has actually worked for me!

Now how do I save it with just the finished text and no background

Didn't work for me. Tried about an hour.
would this work for anything else? so instead of a text a logo instead?
You forgot to add that ayermask need to be inverted for this to work.
