In 1995 the MozART group began to travel the world.
Now, after more than 20 years, 50 countries, 4 continents, 2.000 flights, over 300 incredibly
complicated issues to get the cello with a valid (!) ticket on board of an aicraft, 1 million driven
miles, surprisingly just a few lost bags but countless hours spent on airports of this planet,
there is a good number of stories the quartet would like to share withthe audience.
I was one of his students back in the mid 70's. I valued my time with him.
My Uncle Jack, 8th Army 50th Northumbrian Div, used to sing this in the Western Desert with his mates. The German soldiers would hear them and join in. The Officers used to go spare, threatening to have people shot. Didn’t stop them though.
I have come to the conclusion that the only thing these guys do, is make people happy.

Als Kind habe ich Gänsehaut bekommen, als ich das gehörz habe. Dieses Stück und der fünfte Symphonie waren für mich der Anfang zum kennenlernen des klassischen Musiks. Später habe ich auch klassische iranische Musik gelernt.

Ganz toll! Was für talentierte junge Musiker. Ich finde es überdies sehr überraschend ein Quartett auswendig spielen zu sehen. Für Solowerke wäre das kein Thema für mich als Musiker, aber sowas fällt mir persönlich schwer auswendig zu lernen. Wie auch immer musizieren hier alle Beteiligten großartig zusammen. Bravo!
