Thanks! Honestly, I'm still surprised that this many people follow me. I don't even know anywhere near that many people, so the thought of presenting my work to that many people sometimes makes me hesitate for a second.
It doesn't sound like typical Michiru Yamane music. Is it really her who composed this one? Great adaptation by the way, one of my favorites from DoS :)
Thanks, this is probably my favorite from DoS too! I love the steady drive the song has while still maintaining a classical feel. As far as I can tell, this is a Michiru Yamane track. While there doesn't seem to be an official soundtrack for DoS itself, this track has appeared in other albums that listed Yamane as the composer specifically.
Thanks! I use Pro Tools as my main workstation, and then mix all the layers down and do the final balancing in Audacity. All of the orchestral instruments are from EastWest's Hollywood Orchestra plugin, except for the orchestral percussion, which is from their Symphonic Orchestra plugin. Additional plugins include EastWest's Hollywood Choir for the choir, Native Instrument's Keys: Noire for the piano, Impact Soundworks' Sheddage 3: Abyss for the bass, and XLN Audio's Addictive Drums 2 for the drumkit parts of the percussion. I also used EastWest's Spaces II reverb plugin for some subtle soundscaping.
Ah yes, nostalgia.
Yet another masterpiece, you deserve a much wider audience.
