@@RobbieAndGaryGardeningEasy Yes, I watched it all the way through. I just wanted you to know I had already saved it as you had suggested later. Thanks for the idea!
I love this so much! I had my husband to watch it too lol. I hope he gets the hint from me telling him how much I love it 😀. Thank you for sharing this with us!
Great video. I'm getting ready to build the same thing for grapes for my wife. I should be able to do so with material around the yard. Thanks for the tips!
Thank you, I can show this to my husband and now he will have a better idea of the tunnel I'm interested in. Excellent instructions. Thank you for taking the time to put this together.
Great tutorial, Gary! 👍Love your grow tunnel. That's going to last a super long time! You do a good job explaining your how tos. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.😃💕
This was a great tutorial. Showing how to make the jig was spot on. My husband made raised bed containers that flank east/west our inground garden. We salvaged used cattle panels for pennies and made arches much like yours. At first I wanted them to look perfect and my husband came close with the first arch. After planting together cucumbers and various climbing flowers I realized the foliage hid any imperfections! Now 2 more trellis arches down we have a visually pleasing garden with so much diversity. We've planted cukes, spaghetti squash, delicatas squash, green beans, Chinese red noodle beans and various bee loving flowers. This fall we are covering one of the trellis with greenhouse film. I am planting the containers with purple sprouting broccoli, beets, lettuce, and carrots to see how far we can extend our Boise 7a zone. We will have a cattle panel greenhouse around 3.5 ft x 14 ft raised containers. Thank you for showing viewers how to go vertical. PS- Robie all our soil is made from our horse manure, leaves, sticks, wood chips...you know the drill!
Thank you Gary! I want these tunnels in several places. Great instructions. Just need to get Jerry over to Lowes with our truck and get some materials. Shaded tunnels make so much sense in my desert gardens. Once anchored, these will hold up with the wind gusts.
Your welcome Barbara. I placed a small shaded one over a small tree that I wanted to protect and it worked out really well. Wind travels well over a dome shape.
Love it! On my wishlist now! I also like that he gave the tip of making a playlist for projects, making it easier to find later. I do the same! Love you guys so much! ♥️
This tutorial is very good ... very detailed and useful for all of us home gardeners. The only thing I cant do is bring the rebar home from the garden store bc I have a small car :) Good exercise too and fortunately you only need to do this once for your garden .... weeesh probably easier to set up in Autumn rather than summer.
Beyond G E N I U S 👏👏 Loved it soo much, shared it to myself to put to use for upcoming spring. Big PS Thank You for sharing and saving us time, effort and over thinking ❣️
Good Job and once the jig is built you can bend all the hoops you'll ever need. Would the same jig work for bending 1/2 inch electrical conduit into an arch?
i tried this with thicker rebar - great technique, worked really well, but i had to try and error the spring and for 16mm rebar at 6m i ended up with a radius of 65cm for the template and that worked well
Thank you! I saved it immediately!🙌
You're welcome! From your comment I suspect you watched it to the end. 💯❗

I didn’t hint. I told my husband I wanted him to make it when he gets time. That will be a long time from now, though. 😂
Thanks, I hope so too!
Great informational video! I love how you set up your truck for it, if there’s a will there’s a way! Thanks for sharing the video
Thank you. You bet!

Thank you. We're not near farmland so the nearest place that sells Cattle panels is hours away. I've never actually seen one in real life.
Thank you for sharing. Great and helpful information.
You are so welcome!
Nice. love the tunnel garden, look so amazing. Thank you very much for the tutorial.

Genius! I can’t wait to do this myself for flowering climbing vines & think I can manage entirely on my own without hiring. Thank you!
10172022 "Miss Dahlia Designs" and Mr. Scott so appreciate your ingenuity and time spent sharing the step- by- step process. BRAVO!

Would the same jig work for bending 1/2 inch electrical conduit into an arch?
Thank you. Yes it will. After bending, electrical conduit holds it shape better. The layout of the jig will be closer to the final arch.
Very interesting. Thanks 👍

That sounds great, yes you do have to adjust for the spring in the rebar if using a different size. Thanks for posting this!
👍
