It's funny how everyone always calls them an 80s band. It's true they released their first album in 1986, but that was in Sweden. They weren't known internationally until 1989! They were really more of a 90s band in terms of international hits! This song is from their 1991 album Joyride. Marie was definitely underrated at the time. Nobody like her. Per's songwriting abilities never get the attention they deserve either! He wrote pretty much all of their material. He's a phenomenal songwriter.
They have a lot of good ones that are often played for some reason. "Things Will Never Be The Same" is pretty good.. or "How Do You Do"... "Goodbye to You"..
I'm with John. Roxette are amazing, and so groovy :P And clearly the 2nd best band Sweden ever produced ( they can't compete withg ABBA but who could :P)
Roxette´s music might be simpel. But their music is timeless and maby they are timeless is because they sing about things we all lived through and will be living through. And sometimes is the simplest explanation the best one. And Marie´s voice is or was epic

R.I.P Marie had such a voice & power in her singing. A true fighter rail her last days; so glad her music will leave a legacy for her. 🙏🏽
