Thanks Raj. I was able to fix my leaky bathtub faucet because of this video. I just replaced the washers. I would've quit if it wasn't for your great tips. WD-40 took a few applications before it started moving. Putting the handle back on to pull out the cartridge was genius.

Raj, thank you so much. My mind is a little more stress free. Tomorrow I am going to fix my leaking faucet using your instruction. I feel very confident after watching your video. I have prayed and prayed and prayed that I am able to accomplish this and now I am sure that I can thanks to your video. I am horrible with handling tools, just always been bad at it, but tomorrow I will buy the allen tool, wd40, a flat head and the thing you used to remove the washer/ring. I'm so excited now. @@islabonita6304 oh no….that is the common problem everyone having. If we hasn’t removed for long time, it get stuck with calcium buildup. @@learnfromraj Raj, just to update you and others. Over 4-5 days, I sprayed the area with vinegar, and each day the handle loosened. Today I was able to remove it. I am sure if someone added vinegar a few times a day it would work faster. Now the ring is stuck, so I am taking your advise and using WD40. Hopefully by tomorrow it will come off so I can replace the cartridge.

I watched about 10 of these and would rate 9 of them a 5. Raj on the other hand is a 10! He gives you two tips. One you can get a free cartridge from Delta. It was easy once I got the email right. Shipped free too. Two, there is a white plastic hub that is the temperature setting device. Watch Part #3 of this series to see exactly how to set. Trust me, pull out on hub and turn counter clockwise toward HOT as far as it will go. Now you and the handle have complete control of water temperature. If you don’t do this you will find yourself taking off handle and putting it back multiple times.

Very useful! I took mine apart with your help, looked over all the gaskets (I'm a contractor but NOT a plumber) and all the gaskets looked good. Its pretty new too (less than two years old). But there was a lot of mineral build up that may have formed near/around where gasket actually inserts and created a small opening so I cleaned everything out/up and I think that did it.

I don’t think you can do that for shower because the shut off control is behind the tiles. You won’t have access to that unless you cut the wall and gain access.

My whole house is falling apart and my landlord will not fix anything. I don't want to try to fix anything else cause if I mess it up

Hi Christian, sorry to hear that. Yes, if u r renting don't try. Let the landlord fix it. If we are not careful we might damage the pipe line because sometimes its too tight and hard to remove the old one and it will be a mess like you said. Hope your landlord fixes soon
