Hey Clay great videos. Great instructions and the settings are awesome wish I was wherever your at! I'm teaching my girlfriend to play golf. She struggles with a late release I hope this drill will help her. Thanks.
Clay thank you soo much. This video made everything fall into place. For the past year i've been struggling with the game even after $500 lesson that werent any help. I watched this video at the range and wow ! The results were amazing. Thank you so much for your videos. Does this apply when you hit driver and Woods? i know you hit up on them but the same concept ?
Hi Mike, glad you liked the video and that you saw some great improvement. This does apply to the driver as well but, as you said, you want to be hitting up on the ball. Clay actually just released a great video on the website recently where he goes over the keys with the driver to get more distance without increasing your swing speed. Here is the link if you want to check it out: topspeedgolf.com/vault/swing-the-club-slower-for-more-distance/. Play well! ~ Quentin | TSG Instructor
Any good drills for NOT leaning to much into the ball in the swing? I also move my left shoulder to much to the left at the top of my swing therefore coming in to steep in my backswing. love the vids guys!
Hi, thanks for the comment. This is what part of the Compression Line section is all about on our website. Here is the link to it on our website if you're interested: topspeedgolf.com/courses/the-compression-line/. Play well! ~ Quentin | TSG Instructor
Haha...probably not. Clay is a +3 handicap and Tiger is a +6 probably. Maybe once in a blue moon :-) Hope you're playing great! ~ Quentin | TSG Instructor
Yep, playing on Tour isn't for everyone. I'm sure Clay could work himself on there if he really wanted to but that takes at least 30 hours of practice a week and I don't think that's something Clay is interested in. Hope you're playing great! ~ Quentin | TSG Instructor
Best video I’ve ever ever seen, groundbreaking for me in terms of Ball striking!!! Thanks clay.
Thanks!
Really great visuals, makes it so much easier to see and understand! Love it.
Thanks Michael!
Great example! It makes everything very understandable and intuitive.
Thanks Greg!
Thanks for your free video . I find it useful . Good job . Ike
Thanks Ike!
Love the vids guys. Keep em coming! Clay needs to shout out Pete Cowen in this one!
Thank!

It all depends on your wrist angles if you can get shaft lean or not
Hi, thanks for the comment. I agree, the wrist angles can play a big role. Hope you're playing great! ~ Quentin | TSG Instructor
Stop!...Hammer Time!!!
Haha...all we need is some parachute pants and we're all set. Play well! ~ Quentin | TSG Instructor
cause the hammer has a higher swingweight. the head... heavier heads slow the release
I dare ya to never say the word lag in a video!
Imagine not to say beer 🍻 when you're thirsty. Or not to say chocolate 🍫 when you're hungry???
Hi Paul, I just don't think that's possible :-) Hope you're playing great! ~ Quentin | TSG Instructor
Could u beat tiger at matchplay
Haha...probably not. Clay is a +3 handicap and Tiger is a +6 probably. Maybe once in a blue moon :-) Hope you're playing great! ~ Quentin | TSG Instructor
Plus 3 and not on tour? Hmm
