I had documented six more years of growing spuds and carrots etc in pots but i deleted my content (487 videos) to protest against youtube censorship during the trauma thing we all went through. Planted dharpo mira for the first time this year and harvested 17 pounds to every one pound planted. Needless to say, I was delighted and will plant them for a second crop at the end of July. F om Mavis in Savannah, Georgia USA.

Its crazy how many potatoes you are able to produce in those small containers! I want to try it now! I have never grown potatoes but this year I planted some actual potato seeds! It is not a named variety, it is landrace potato seeds but it is still way to early to dig them up yet! I can't wait!!
Love it guys! Over time you will have wonderful harvests I just know it! The small containers imo work out really well and take v little effort! I’m normally using rough compost and then it’s even better after… Iv been saving potato seed for 7 years and it’s just gets better and better.. Sending all my love! 🌈💚🍀 Brilliant harvest Scott 👌🏻 I had two teeny tiny lots of Charlottes. But they tasted good 😊 I had to take them early because I had put them in ASDA hessian bags (without plastic liner) and the bags literally disintegrated to nothing 😳 At least I know they’re fully compostable 🤣😂 I still have a large tub still growing with a jungle of potatoes and flowering nicely. So I’ll see what I get out of that 🤞🏻 Love to Luna 🥰

@@catemc2323 Id be honoured! a wee bit of corrugated brown cardboard, straw if available and woodchips ( hard wood if possible ) but they will devour any carbonaceous material. I hear ya.. if you were thinking the bags wouldn't hold up its cool, you could use a container/pot or do a we mushroom bed.. or if you had another hessian sack they work great! Cheers Asda!🤦♂Aye the sarpo are like red rooster! Il send you some with the mycelium.. I did have some ready for sowing last week but only new ones now but if you keepem in a dark cool place they will keep really well for next years planting and il send enough so you try them to eat and see what you think..My email or skype is in the about section.. Wish I’d got it in camera! We feasted in chips that night! Wonderful memories of when I was with loved ones.. Your harvest is much better than my early potatoes. I don’t know how many sweet potatoes I’ll get the rabbits eat all the tops. Dug them up and moved some of them. It’s just been to wet this year even though I have not watered.
