The tenth theme was "Alien" , and this is by far one of my most beloved pieces in the series! I wanted an alien that looked.... well, alien and weird, but not necessarily menacing. There is a little influence of "Oban Star Racers" style, it wasn't on purpose but I really don't mind to be honest! A LITTLE ABOUT ME: My name is Barbara, I am from Brazil and I am 29 years old (as I write this in 2019) and I am a professional freelance illustrator. ABOUT MAKING ANY TUTORIALS: It's very unlikely I will do any tutorials about anything, I am really sorry about that. ABOUT ART REQUESTS: I only accept commissions. ABOUT THE MUSIC I CHOSE FOR MY VIDEOS: I am just extremely picky with the royalty free music I put in my videos, lol. Generally, I spend a ridiculous amount of time searching for good royalty free music that fits my personal tastes and that sounds like actual songs we would hear in movies or similar. I also look for the best song that fits the themes / characters / atmosphere of the painting in each, particular video :)My favorite musicians for this are Adrian von Ziegler, PeriTune, Kevin MacLeod, Daniel Lehmann (formerly known as RoughNX) and Sláinte. haha, thanks! As I explained to someone else here, the subject was fairly easier (an alien that had no hair, no nose or clothes and barely had lips lol) so that makes it faster =) Also I've been painting portraits for a long time now, that counts a lot too!
