Ever since I saw Mariah & Matilda feature these, I was hoping that you'd try them too. I'm interested in Luna & Moonrise, but I really hope they add some neutral & cooler tones soon. I'd love to see that formula in a dk. chocolatey bronze, & a mauve-pewter-taupey shade. Thanks, Amanda😘.
Same and same! Luna and moonrise are interesting to me, but I wish there were deeper neutral to cool shades. I am not as pale as Amanda, so I don’t even know if these two shades would work as anything other than inner corner highlights on me.
@@Khaleesi_Of_Kittens I already adore Sydney Grace liquid shadows, but I enjoy trying new formulas/brands/textures, & I do like the 2 lightest, silvery champagne shades. I was esp. interested in them b/c they were being billed as "dewy", but they look like standard foiled shades w/some extra emollients added🤷🏻♀️.
YES!! to "dk. chocolatey bronze, & a mauve-pewter-taupey shade" I'm not into this whole red and orange tone eyeshadows. I think in 10 years we will say what were we thinking!!!
I'm really starting to love the way cream eyeshadows look on my 56 year old lids. So much more forgiving than powder, but the key is a moist non-creasing formula. Thank you so much.
The shades make it a pass for me but Star Child looks pretty awesome. I'm only skipping it because I have the Roen 11:11 palette and I can kinda get the same look from that but they all looked stunning on you. I just wish they had made some bronzes and the "richness" like you said.
I know you've talked about the Ulta metallic cream eyeshadows before, but I found the shade Breakdance which, on my skin tone, is a very similar shade to CT Oyster Pearl! To help the shadow blend, I put the most amount on the center of my lid to keep the pigment and shine, and then I blend it out into the general shape with a small brush (I use the elf eye crease brush) and then I use my finger to soften the edges! Because it's metallic and not shimmery, it also works well to add a little something to the bottom lashline too! Obviously it's much easier to take *just* a brush or a finger and swipe on CT Oyster Pearl, but I thought it was worth mentioning! If I do want extra shine, adding a glitter/wet-looking topper is lovely!
I have wish & Venus in my cart. They are soooo beautiful! Wow. I ordered their blush/contour sticks and magic hour blush last week. I cannot wait to try. I would buy this brand for the packaging alone tbh! Haha
Wow, these REALLY remind me of the Essence Melted Chrome shadows (I have 4). I'll probably pass because I already have those, but these look amazing. And I was so curious about their finish - definitely was expecting a more wet look rather than metallic.
I love the dewy look but have CT oyster shell, Roen 11:11 , UD space cowboy and Colourpop cosmic charge so I think I’ve got the colors I prefer though these look lovely on you!
@@kimlevy385 It is my favorite palette this year. I was quite skeptical in the beginning due to the price point and also since it wasn’t an established high end brand. @@jenhesse22 Is it more warm or neutral in person? I dislike orange tones, & they're throwing my eye off. I can't tell if the other shades besides the orange matte & copper are more warm or neutral, from the online photos.
@@NatalieValentina6 I would say that it is a neutral palette with two shades that lean warm. The orange shade can be mixed with other matte shadows if you want to warm up your look. That said, you could easily tone down a look by adding the cream or taupe shade. The shades in the palette are truly customizable. I wish there were a way to add photos here.
I am so looking forward to your wet eyeshadow video! I've been looking for a taupe brown wet looking shade and it is so hard to find! I'm definitely going to be picking up a few shades from this launch! This was super helpful! Thank you Amanda!
Love the shades!! Robert Welsh mentioned these came out but didn’t have any to test. I knew you’d have a review on these and boom your video pops up right in my recommendations! I’m so torn as to which one to buy!! Thank you for the review!! I love how you go over everything about the product!! After watching your reviews I feel confident if it’s a product I’d like or not. :) Even if we’re complete opposite skin types!
Would love to see this formula in a cool olive green colour 😍 now that would be a nice one and done shadow. Also I’d be horrified if one of my shadows suddenly became a liquid putty, do you think that could have anything to do with the temperature where you are? Like the way some products melt when it’s hot or humid
*Amanda, if you don't yet have Ladybird (Super Shock Shadow) from Colourpop, it's even more wet looking than Ritz and Space Cowboy. It's glorious! (Honorable mentions: Cami Crush, Sailor, Frog, Moon Daisy, Set to Stun and I See the Light (which looks purple on the website but is an extremely light lilac-ey iridescent shade.)*
So, in your opinion, if I want a nice 60’s Hollywood glamour pale champagne shadow to go with my red lip ala Marilyn Monroe, go with one of these? Or with the Chanel cream shadow (if budget isn’t an option)
*Gurl, you can get some KILLER cream shadows for $8/each from Sydney Grace! The multichromes are $15 and she has codes you can use!! $27 a pop is dead crazy!!*
Amanda, how do you feel about the em cosmetics so soft multi face play in the shade terra if you’ve tried that specific shade? You are a little more tan and a warmer undertone but I can’t seem to find anyone with as fair as skin if me using any of the shades. I am extremely pale and cool toned
I really think I want to get Luna and maybe the Star one …. And eventually scorpious. I thought of you as soon as I saw this release. You are to cream shadows as Kackie is to blush. Lol.
I wish they would do a color similar to the green/pink shift shade in the Pat McGrath Bronze seduction palette - I’m still out here looking for a single shadow dupe!
i would love to know what i can get from this $26 formula that i can't get from a less mainstream, indie brand that has shadows that cost significantly less.
@@NatalieValentina6 It’s easy for me to find low-cost shadows that are ✨stunning✨ but just do a sucky job at wearing on my skin for more than an hour :( which is why i usually go for more expensive shadows. but oooh i’ve never heard of these brands! i’m def going to check them out now 🤓
Morphe has this gloss stick for a more wet look that I loooooove to mix with eyeshadow to get that look if they normally fall flat. I love the stick on the skin too. I keep that dewyness all day.
I wish Em cosmetics was less expensive to get in Canada. I’ve wanted some of their other products (and am intrigued by these as well) but just can’t justify the crazy cost 😒

some shades have glitter and others don't! if you want no glitter I would look at scorpius, venus, helios, wish or moonrise! Those are more straight metallics without the glitter
Okay but korean cosmetics eg etude house, Clio, Mamonde, peripera and so many more did this waaaay waaay before. Y’all need to get on asian makeup. They’re very very innovative and has some of the best formulations out there
That's what I thought. Price for gram it's $8.67. I did the comparison to some high-end singles. Charolette Tilbury eyes to mesmerize is $4.57/g. Hourglass scattered shadow is $8.29/g. Tom Ford cream color is $9.2/g. 🤯

when you don't live in america, don't have access to ulta products (or a myriad of other cream-eyeshadows, besides the high price point charlotte tilbury or tomford stuff), and em cosmetics doesn't ship to canada *sigh....
Have you looked at Phytosurgence? Amanda has reviewed them previously. Canadian company. Wild Oak eye shadow is one of my go to’s now. They are a satin finish but did recently add shiny toppers (which I haven’t tried).
