A wonderful short film on the subtle nuance that exists in kayaking but is rarely talked about. I've definitely thought of this exact concept but never expressed as beautifully as this film is able to do in 5 minutes.
A beautifully simple, thought-provoking video! And the use of natural sound as well as music - so many of us edit out the river's own sounds, which is such a shame!
:) Caleb your video editing is... incredible! You have it all. Story. Little details. Macro. Slo-Mo.. but full drone. That is a fantastic short! AND sound-track! Puck drop... quick move... shoots.. scores! An amazing 5 minutes. I have to up my game on my local creeks. Thanks for keeps us motivated! steve - kingston
What a beautiful job. While it's nice to see a kayaking video that doesn't simply rely on big drops or holes, this is also just really well filmed and edited. One of the best I've seen.
Caleb, I didn't read the description before watching. Thought to myself "this Caleb guy sure looks like Ben Marr." Then I read the description. Going to share this video. You should be bigger w your channel w videos like this. Glad I stumbled on this. If your ever down in Columbus GA hit me up. Bret SYOTW
" for kayakers " is such a general assumption imo.... i am an old man who likes to paddle the gentle streams and then i get to those white waters that tempt me and make me question the integrity of my floatation device... do i dare... i kayak for the chance to learn about the history of sites that interest me ... i guess that is my style... you on the other hand seem to be the extremist type who pushes the floatation device and your yak skills to the limits... looks like fun but no for just any average joe...
Most soulful kayak edit I've seen in a long time.
This happens after watching every single "how to" kayak video on YT: pure magic, great filming, excellent skills, and deep meaning. Thank you 😊
Beautiful! A nice change in the freestyle edit scene.
Appreciate it man!

Amazing edit. Mr Marr is a spiritual guy 😄
