Hueys in the 60s were two bladed both up top and the tail rotor and it had only one exhaust not two... it was the two bladed rotors that gave the Huey it's iconic thump sound as it flew. the quad rotor made it not as noisy
Everything is wrong. Wrong Huey, wrong type(gunships didn't carry troops and they mounted M60s on the sides, not Miniguns. There were some late war hueys carrying miniguns on the sides, but not in 1968. If Bell is MACV-SOG as in the first black ops he wouldn't be using an M16a1 but an XM-177e1, the famous CAR-15. Also, SOG troops didn't wear helmets, they left the wire completely sterile. But we're talking about COD, which means they put holographic sights on a KAR98.

The 7.62mm Minigun was a rare sight in Vietnam. The problem was that they tried to scale down a full sized M61 20mm and ran into a lot of issues on the helicopter mounted version. The gun has reliability issues if it couldn't get the power it needed at the amps needed which wasn't a problem for large aircraft. That and the cost are why the vast majority of helicopters used the M60 as a door gun and the duel mounted, pilot controlled version on the gunships. A thin skinned Huey with underslung, gimbled miniguns is a hell of a pipe dream and something you would NEVER see. On a side pod in a fixed mount? Sure. Huey's were VERY vulnerable to ground fire. An AK47 would have no problem punching through the windows, floor, or sides with ease. The pilots all wore heavy early ceramic rifle proof plates on their front and back. Often they mounted them under the seat too. A Hind? A fucking HIND?! 7.62mm would bounce off of that thing like it was nothing. The Vietnamese didn't have any of those. That would show direct Soviet involvement. If they did have any those thing would have torn our troop apart. They would have made easy prey of ANY Huey out there including the gunships. Only the Cobra had a chance and that's only if it has the wing mounted 20mm or (at the time) experimental nose mounted 3 barrel 20mm kit. Even .50 BMG AP rounds have a hard time bringing a Hind down.

However, they went back to the 20mm version despite the extra weight & less ammo. The 105mm rockets are the older Zuni rockets. Which are still used on fixed wing jets but no longer on helicopters. Why carry 4 in a pod when you can carry 19 70mm rockets instead?

One thing I hate about COD games now is how quite and dull everything is... incoming fire just sounds dead and flat as if they've purposefully made them sound shit, in post editing walking around the FOB sounded lifeless, there's Cobras flying overhead, logi trucks whipping about, Huey's taking off and grunts all around shooting the shit, but all you hear is nothingness, absolutely kills the game immersion in my opinion.

Listen, I know CoD has been a dumpster fire ever since BO4 came out, even though I really enjoyed BO4. But still, when it comes to gameplay, gun feel and gun play, animations and overall audio and environment, you just really can't beat it. I mean the fast paced guns blazing blood splattering gameplay is just so fucking good. I love CoD campaigns. And I really love the way guns feel in CoD games. I will always be a fan because of some core mechanics. Just wished they released full games, and wished they took their time. I hate Activision.

The only thing I object here is the Huey. An anachronistic Huey that looks like a UH-1Y Venom in the Vietnam War. I can understand it being used in the 1980s because its real life comparison the Bell 412 which is a 4-bladed Huey entered service in 1981 and the events of Cold War takes place in 1982. So it makes sense. The Vietnam part, not really. But who would care anyways, I'm just pedantic like James May.
