Yo! Looks like I’m late to the party XD . Such an entertaining reaction! This is also a bit late, but welcome to modern-day beatboxing!
So, you asked beatboxers to fill you in; here I am. I’m not really a pro beatboxer; I just have a grasp on a lot of the techniques. I spend too much time here XD .
1:04 - Yeah; that’s Throat Bass. You actually somewhat did Throat Bass in the video, so congrats! You just learned Throat Bass! John-T’s basses are so good. His Inwards, Throat Basses, Fart Basses, etc. really click with Yamori’s vocal techniques and musicality. They’re incredible as a Tag-Team.
1:56 - I can so understand why you got giddy XD . This little teaser of Jairo’s technicality is so good! A lot of other Tag Teams use speed, unorthodox rhythms, and wacky sounds to showcase their technicality, but not Jairo. They showcase their technicality by bouncing off eachother.
2:28 - “Aah!” 100% relate to this bit XD . It’s another little jab of technicality amongst Jairo’s musicality.
2:50 - Practice. It’s a lot of practice, practice, and more practice. I’m not there yet; nor do I think I will ever be. Not unless I crack down on the basics and get them going that speed.
3:15 - Intense vibing go brr
3:45 - Enter Jairo’s technicality XD . Where you see a bit of improvisation, try picking apart the sounds. Who is doing what when? THAT’s the technicality of Jairo. They’re so on point that they can *break down the entire beat in the middle!!*

Throat Bass: Sick, I practiced ever since, it hurt a lot in the beginning, but now I can practice at least 2mins, before I need to stop to get my throat a rest :D
Jairo: They're incredible. I realize the talent behind breaking down an original song and dividing the entire track into two, in a way it sounds whole in the end-product. Considering how many vocal tracks it takes to master a song in the studio, they just work it out, being limited to two.
Technicality: I'm about to really deep dive into "modern beatbox". The more I learn about and hear about differents sounds and techniques, the more I recognise in these videos as well.

The Throat Bass is going to hurt, yeah. A lot of techniques (basses especially) are going to take some time to get going. Just keep practicing and messing with the sounds, man. You’ll do good, man!
As you dive deeper, you’ll find beatboxers of all kinds with a lot of different styles. Some (like NaPoM. Recommend his video “Roll Like This” if you haven’t seen it) are more technical, which showcase faster/harder-to-do techniques in their style. Others (like Den, Jairo, or King Inertia) are more musical. There are some that combine these styles, too.
I’d recommend getting into people like Den, Show-Go, and King Inertia. All three are solo beatboxers with a lot of musicality (Show-Go has both musicality and technicality). Can’t wait to see how this journey unfolds! You’ve earned a sub, man!
Sorry I haven‘t gotten back to this yet. I checked our roll like this, king inertia and a wildcard from Sho-Go. Each more stunning than the other. Microphones seem to play an important role, but I‘m gonna get a new one eventually and then see how that affects the sounds.

I can see why😅 Hard to estimate how long it takes for them to come up with such a rendition, record it, add a music video etc. definitely a process of multiple days
