That Tracy-moment is just beyond what words can explain. My soul felt it.
Yea, you could tell that she was willing to do whatever it took to make her company work, and she had a plan but just needed a little bit more money. Daymond felt that. He gives people chances every now and then and doesn’t care what the other sharks or the world thinks about him. He is a hero.
Never go on to this show desperate. Notice how that young man was THIS close to losing his company to Kevin, had Mark not stepped in.
And thats why the 1% stays at 1% imagine all the ppl who fall from that kind of deal to other sharks in the real world.
Obviously better learn that beforehand. I mean shark is litrally in the water to eat you. And the business world is that water and these are the sharks.
But he should have taken the deal with Kevin coz his company never got off the ground with the deal he had done with Mark.
....how can that be..... he can decline any offer.
When you go to Shark Tank .....you must have the guts to say no.

@@shriibrahim4424 exposure can help the business but it mostly depends on the state of the product, it’s complexity and the owner of the company.
As mark said this guy is an inventor first and an entrepreneur second which hurts tue company from the start since the owner said it himself that he is planning on making a martini cooler but he didn’t iron out the flaws of the vine cooler first
Secondly the product was leagues from being perfectly tuned performance wise and aesthetically pleasing. Which we can see because as of the last update on this company, in dec 2020, they redid the design and were fixing performance issues.
Daymond is a good guy, bottom line. Deserves to hit a billion.
He won't because he's too good of a guy. Not ruthless enough.

@LsxEater I can't get into the details for obvious reasons but know that it's not a WANT it's a NEED and complete game changer. I've been told for years by my mentor and good friend, "don't sell them what they want but supply them with what they need". @daymondjohn you have drilled that into me over the years of Shark Tank.
I really like Daymond and O'Leary. Daymond is smooth confident and always keeps his cool, while O'Leary is brash, arrogant and has no issue with losing it (his cool). They're similar in their drive and work ethic, but they have very different personalities. It's interesting to watch both of their tactics.
Even tho i like Mr wonderful but he becomes so greedy with his deals.
I think Daymond always make really good deals with real sweet people that really need help in their business. I loved it when he hollered for Tracy!! You're an amazing person & very good hearted Daymond!!

I think that everybody likes Daymond. He's not an ass. He's intelligent, respectful, doesn't talk to much, has good sense of humor and has a good heart for a business man.

These meetings are always high stress leading up to it but once you’re in one, it’s fun.

So what he's getting 30%. It's the fact he initially didn't invest and none of the sharks wanted to invest as well. It's only at the end he gave an offer because he probably felt bad and gave a handout offer bc of skin color. That's what it looked like. The 30% means squat if it's not a viable business and he obviously has to take a cut. I guess he could have just bought out the business out right but my comment still stands. Hand out.

Kevin was brutal and greedy on trying to take half the man's pronto company. Was a horrible deal and unfair to the inventor and Mark knew it. That's why he stepped back in along with the product being pretty decent.
