Its a shame they didn't bring Boldeo in for the sequel; I saw on the DVD that originally Boldeo was going to force Mowglie to take him to the secret treasure beneath the monkey castle, and that's where Shere Khan meets his end, that would've been an awesome scene. Oh well, maybe they can do that for JB 3... except I think I read somewhere that Disney isn't going to do anymore sequels, which is both a blessing and a shame (because again, using Boldeo in JB3 would be awesome).
Well, judging that he probably got it from a dvd or a source that already got the subtitles added, and that the wiki is edited by fans, I trust this video more.
@Rodrigo: Normally I'd follow your reasoning, but the fact is, it sounds a lot more like "tongue" than "khan". It's quite possible the person who wrote the subtitles got it wrong.
This is the precursor to all of those rap battles you kids are seeing around these days. :P On a side note, I would pay money to see a rap remix of this song.
You know....in some strange but interesting way I can actually see Esmeralda and Frollo singing this song about each other Esmeralda: Shere Khan the tiger Claude Frollo: Buldeo the hunter Anyone else agree?
@@deionpehowdy That’s ok. But in all honesty, do you think you can see Frollo saying “Esmeralda’s the game I to tame her carcass I shall step on. I’ll meet my victims eye to eye, she knows just how I hate her, she’ll have no time say goodbye for I’ll….exterminate her”.
@moatguy I don't know... I think I read somewhere that Jim Cummings voiced Shere Khan for something, but that could've been a misprint. I'm not sure who could voice him, but I have heard some pretty good dubs, so I think Disney could find someone who could not only sound like George or Tony, but also fit Khan's personality. :)
*OMG HOW DARE THEY NOT GIVE MY SHERE KHAN HIS OWN SONG AND HIS VOICE IS REALLY SEXY AND HOT BTW I MEAN WHEN HE WAS SINGING “THATS WHAT FRIENDS ARE FOR” WAS REALLY SEXY SO YEAH*
@Kelaiah01 I found out why it's seldom. John Lasseter who not only works at Pixar but also normal Disney says that the prequel to Monsters Inc and soon a Little Mermaid 3 will be the last Disney sequels or prequels made for now. Lasseter says that he thinks most sequels and prequels are not very good. If any get made now he said they will have to be very good.
@Kelaiah01 Yeah maybe you're right. Disney has seldom made more then one sequel to a film. With the exceptions of The Rescuers'Fantasia and the Pixar films all Disney sequels were made in Australia. They seldom go past even one sequel or the origanal at all to make another sequel or like Lion King 3 and Tarzan 2 and this year Monster University(Monsters Inc 2) a story within the origanal story.
Yeah maybe. But also too we don't know if Shere Khan dies in Jungle Book 2 or not. Although he is not killed by the stone that lands on him he does get trapped and the rock he stands on does start to sink into lava and he excepts his fate. But we don't see if he escapes or not.
@heatherwright24 Buldeo is a middle-aged hunter who lives in the man village where Mowgli learns of men. He longs to collect the sizable bounty on the lame maneatr Shere Kahn.
It’s admittedly…not very good, but this song really sticks with me. It has such a cool vibe to it. This would’ve been such a cool rivalry to see on film and have Mowgli caught in the middle of it
Well not only that but now even Tony Jay who voiced Shere Khan in 2 is now also dead. If they were to make a 3 who other then Tony Jay could match George Sanders voice in the first?
The voice was GEorge Sanders, but for some reason, though George had a magnificent voice, they preferred Thurl Ravenscroft to sing. So the nice bass slide at the end of the vulture song was Thurl.
Though I agree the song is not that good, I don't think it's why it was scrapped. They scrapped the plotline with Buldeo altogether, so that's probably why.
This song is so sad 😭, but also powerful and shows his kind and evil side.
“It isn’t fair to hate me when you know me very slightly”
Mowgli has a few things to say to you Shere Khan.
I think I could fall asleep peacefully listening to his beautiful voice.
He sounds like the person who originally sang "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch".
Jonathan Shaffer It is
It is.
That's because it is him. Thurl Ravenscroft
It is lol
Jonathan Shaffer same person
This song makes shere khan more sympathetic
Too bad they didn't leave this song in. That's an amazing bass voice.
Shere Khan's singing voice is provided by Thurl Ravenscroft
0:40 Thurl Ravenscroft as Shan Khan the Tiger (Singing).
he'd be much scarier because while shere khan kills cuz it's in his nature, buldeo kills for greed.
Interesting.
I do love Shere Khan.

Jungle book broke me and my heart only when I was 6 years old... 😭😭

One Of The Reasons They Aren't Doing The Third Film is Because Shere Khan's Voice Actor Died. Both of Them.
@@deionpehowdy ...Well, yeah.
It's '' More than tongue can tell.'' Not Kahn. Looked it up on Disney wiki

Could be, there are a lot of instanses in wich the singers does not follow tje lyrics exactly too
In the Jungle Book stories he was the hunter that was always after Shere Khan.
So, That's Why Shere Khan hates Humans.

Start or end idk
probably the time where he sees mowgli in that dull black and dry area with the vultures
This is amazing!

From what I heard Walt Disney cut the song from this version because he said it was too dark.
This Song Seems Like The Only Time Buldeo Can Be Heard.
I feel bad for the hunter when he actually meets Shere Khan
If they removed the whole hunter thing this song woulda worked well.
They should’ve had this song and Buldeo in the 2016 film

He probably starved to death or died of dehydration because he was trapped under the statue
I mean he could escape because in the jungle book 3 he did
Who voices Buldeo?
Who cares ?
+Malcolm White 5 People that liked him, and 0 People care about your shitty Comment.
diskid02 I like that Buldeo😊
Hal Smith did before he was deleted from The Jungle Book
So the singing and reciting voice of this is Thurl Ravenscroft.
Yeah.
Yes. I couldn't really transfer it on my flip video.
@heatherwright24
Buldeo is a middle-aged hunter who lives in the man village where Mowgli learns of men. He longs to collect the sizable bounty on the lame maneatr Shere Kahn.
In the orginal book Shere Khan was a villain at the start but then he turned good nd accepted Mowgali as a creature of the jungle
No he didn't. In the book, Mowgli lured Shere Khan into a narrow valley and had him trampled to death by a buffalo stampede.
That is the 1994 film
I would love to see the Darker Version of the Movie.
Then, See Mowgli Legend of The Jungle.

Can you post "I Knew I Belonged To Her" from these deleted songs? I can't find it anywhere.
Thanks
Not bad, but Khan needs to get out a double bass and start jamming on it. Buldeo should get out his saxophone
Can you upload the original version of "That's What Friends Are For"?
buldeo reminds me of clayton from tarzan
Maybe Clayton was an inspiration from Buldeo? Jungle book was made in the 60’s and Tarzan 90’s
@@CruellaDaDalmatian well the original version of the jungle book was made in 1894 and the original Tarzan was made in 1912 so, yeah
