I TEST the LIGHTEST RACKET IN THE WORLD: WORTH IT? (HEAD ONE ULTRALIGHT) - the4Set

- HEAD has launched the new One Ultralight, the lightest racket in the world with 300 grams. Is it worth it? Is it a powerful racket? I had never tried a racket so light and a priori, as Newton says, should suffer in power. What do you think?

As the video say it feels like a racket for beginners or people with arm issues. But I think anyone with decent technique or better will notice pretty quick they want or need some weight in the racket.
Anyway nice review and thumbs up to Head for trying new things!
Great video Paulo, thanks!
When the roughness wears off you can add Head Padel Pro Spin Strips
Great video!! If you have the time, may I ask you a question? My wife wants to start playing padel, do you have any suggestions for a racket?
You should do a video comparing the two versions of the extreme one, the normal and the Bordeaux P2 one. I have the last one and it feels completely different to the normal one although they should be the same…can’t tell exactly why but it feels like it has more power!
Recently bought extreme one. I like it, but it’s definitely not for beginners. Borders of the racket have completely different responses. Im still adapting, but i would not start with this racket.
Nox have sold ultralight (~300g) models for years, so Head is neither first, or having the worlds lightest raquet.
@@andreas7457 i have it. It’s terrible)) looks like developed for teens
I would like to address one misconception. As much as it is true that having a lighter racket means it's easier to accelerate it, it also means it carries less momentum. So the moment you start playing with the wrist you won't be able to generate nearly as much power due to the lack of inertia.
Speed is actually more important than mass in the power calculation
@@adamheath4599 that is how it works when holding the racket with a rigid wrist, where you apply reaction force. If you are hitting with a loose wrist the correct model becomes that of an impact between two objects. In that case the conserved quantities are inertias. Recall that inertias are computed as q = mv. In this case getting the racket to a certian q_1 costs you quadratically in velocity and linearly in mass. It is more energetically convenient to have a heavier racket moving at a slower speed in order to generate impulse on the ball.
If i need more power in my shots and topspin what racket should I get
First of all don't use topspin
@@jj9749 for smashes
Paulo, intenté usar el código y no funciona.
340g is the best weight
