Not gonna lie. Yukina was my first anime crush. I was about 12 when I first started watching YU YU hakusho. I still think she's one of the cutest anime girls.

I think this song is a double entendre, both about genkai and toguro but also about Yusukes inner struggle. Yusuke needs to learn to leave that person that ignores his feelings, and when he looks in the mirror it’s time to say goodbye to the person. Remember genkai saying that Yusuke has like 10 ft of crap between himself and his emotions. “So now I draw the line to live another journey” Again applied to genkai and toguro, but Yusuke too. When he learns to accept his feelings and embrace the people around him I think he lets that part of him go, living a more accepting fulfilling life with a new appreciation for the relationships he has with his friends. “...no sadness at all” When he looks at himself in the mirror Yusuke doesn’t see sadness at all because deep down he doesn’t want to admit so - until genkai points it out to him. But obviously this line applies more to Toguro, as he probably doesn’t see his own sadness in the mirror (death of his disciples and what not), but unlike Yusuke it’s something he never admits to himself, forgoing any acceptance or closure, avoiding his past thus avoiding that pain. Maybe that’s why he wears sunglasses? I believe that it’s possible I’m waaay over analyzing this, but this is togashi we’re talking about.
