Good to see another one of these - last year's was my introduction to your channel. 1) Favourite Game : Blueprints of Mad King Ludwig 2) Most Played: Art Society 3) Biggest Surprise: Faraway Bonus: Most reliable Introductory game: Just One 4) Best Production: Castles of Burgundy 5) Shelf of Shame: Oath 6)Discovery: Anno 1800 7) Anticipated: Arcs, Landmarks, Gnome Hollow 8) n/a
Two years in a row and no @??? Oh you're breaking my heart Reggie, but that's okay I still love ya! Seems like you did this a month early, but that's okay, i've still got lots to talk about. Here's my list :) 1. What is your favorite game? Blueprints of Mad King Ludwig 2. What is your most played game? Daybreak 3. What was your biggest surprise? Boblin's Rebellion 4. What game's production/art has impressed you the most? CoLab Bonus: What has been your most reliable introductory board game? Cascadia 5. What game do you want to get off of your Shelf of Shame the most? Catacombs: Red Box 6. Which game from 10+ years ago did you discover this year? (3+ or 5+) So Clover 7. Which anticipated releases are you most excited about for the second half of the year? Star Trek: Captain's Chair 8. What's your personal favorite video that you’ve posted to your channel? My february 'ramble', which is monthly exclusive video series for backers of my show. in feb i did a deep dive tour of life on the road in our RV (how we lived and how i kept doing rahdo stuff), and watching it again makes me itch to get out on the road once more! Also, wasn't there a "most disappointing" last year? I get that you'd leave that one off since most folks seemed pretty uncomfortable with itlast year, but I'll pull the bandaid off and say for me it's Wyrmspan (gasp!)
1. I gave you a shoutout and thank you at the end because you and the guys did respond to it last year :) was trying to mainly focus on smaller channels this year. 2. I think I speak for everyone when I say I still think you should make a video with you answers. We wanna hear these ramblings!!! @rahdo you're tagged now can't avoid it 3. Good point, I was inspired by a Booktuber that does this around this time as to give all the tagged folks a month to post their responses.
@@rolling.reggie yup yup, i saw the shoutout at the end, no worries, i was just ribbing ya (and i fully agree with the elevating smaller channels approach) :)
@@rahdo Well, I hope we can collab sometime this summer! I definitely want to be a part of Funacon if y'all are doing that again. rollingregg@gmail.com
Have yet to try Dune: Imperium Uprising, but now it's definitely on the "next up" list! TTR Japan is a great one too! Can't wait to see what the other content creators do with this!! - G
Great video and fun challenge! Thanks for the tag 👍 I'll see what I can come up with. The new Puerto Rico 1897 is also on my shelf of shame, too bad we live so far apart!
Thank you for watching :) I just learned that recently! It's so cool, he recently was a cultural consultant on the new Imperium game for the Taino civ. Him and I def have to link up and game/collab one day.
Your discussion on Sea Salt and Paper is exactly how I feel after playing Scout 50x this year. It's died down and had to buy a physical copy of SSP after watching your video!
I have played more Ticket to Ride, if you consider all the varieties, than any other game except Scrabble. The US mega is so much better than regular US; the expansions focus more on tickets than the original US base game does, so there are more fun ways to get a win. If you have Japan and you want to teach new players, flip it over and use the Italy map on its other side, because Italy is almost as basic as US, the exception being the ferry, and the endgame bonus is different. People who play a lot of Ticket to Ride get into a certain rhythm of play. The only time I ever killed the crew deep-sea, one mission after another succeeding, is when I played with four other Ticket to Ride sharks.
Late to the video but hell yeah Sea Salt & Paper and Take 5 love! Also saw you're a fan of Scout, that's one of my all time favorites. 1) Favorite Game: Dune Imperium (still) 2) Most Played: 6 nimmit (BGA) 3) Biggest Surprise: Foundations of Rome 4) Best Production: Veiled Fate (friend had uber kickstarter version) 5) Shelf of Shame: Clank Catacombs, played once so far, want to play it again 6) Discovery: Castles of Burgundy 7) Anticipated: Arcs, Dune Imperium Uprising (soon), Brink 8) Not a content creator but I've been successfully getting friends to do more sessions at cafes/work/etc :)
Thank you for watching! I put a lot of time into this video and the algorithm was not nice to me haha 2) I've got Take 5, love this game! add me on BGA rolling_reggie I love turn-based. 6) Huge agree I also discovered CoB this year 8) This is simply awesome! We need more of this.
Wonderful list of games! I've added some of them to my wish list. I agree about the guide for beginners. You've really managed great! Did you check German Post Game? Looks like Ticket to Ride, but has different gameplay.
just saw your prediction on the twitch livestream today... spectacular is my #2 so you were close! :)
DANG IT! Well that is validating haha guess I'm a real fan
🙋🏻♀️ I wanna play Puerto Rico with you!! Also, similarly curious about Cities. Ok I’m off to think about my answers to these questions…

We don't talk about that shirt LOL and deal, I was actually thinking you'd be perfect for PR 1897 it's right up our alley
