      The owner has said he's happy with the new rules and doesn't care about losing money. He has even stated he closed his bar at 8 pm. Because the spring breakers were getting out of control last year. This is another good example of the media cutting the interview to fit their views

    I’ve experienced spring break in Miami and I am currently experiencing it in Fort Worth, TX. Comparing the behavior I see from the ethnic majority here and the behavior I saw from the ethnic majority in Miami IT IS 100% RACED BASED and rightfully so. Sadly the truth hurts and facts don’t care about your feelings.

      That wouldn’t help as still Miami and Miami Beach would end up in chaos and violence from spring breakers. Though not the norm, I know Asian college students who ran to evade police during Miami Beach as they were causing chaos with other people. The police have been caught on video arresting people from all different races during spring break.

    Thank you for this. Spring break had been getting more and more obnoxious every year. Louder, more crime, and violent. It isn't really spring break because there's spring break in every state but in Miami Spring Break is just mayhem. It's been really out of control every year, and I'm shocked but relieved that they actually did something about it this year. Most things in this country don't fix themselves, but this is one of the few times that I'm happy with what they did. And I'm part of the generation that should enjoy this, but I don't.

    Spring breakers should go to California. It’s beautiful there and their governor doesn’t care what you do in his state. No one goes to jail. Just don’t step on all those poor people living in tents on the streets. Have fun.

    It’s really gotten old seeing the violence and destruction every year. I started visiting lauderdale by the sea in 2014, stopped going around 2021 because of the level of foolishness happening. It’s not peaceful as it once was.

    I went to Miami for spring break when I was in college in 2000 and I don't remember the violence and mayhem. We just had safe fun. What has happened in 24 years?

    I remember back in the '70s when they closed down the Fremont Ca Strip this eay, one of the best in the nation at that time. It went from hustle bustle to completely dead in a matter of weeks.

    In Daytona certain spring breakers would trash the condo rooms on beach side. They would overwhelm convenient stores and steal them blind. Litter the beaches and streets with trash. Street race and street takeovers. Absolute pandemonium for local residents!

    What's happening with America today? Mass lootings in Chicago and Philly, daily attacks and muggings in NY, shootings everywhere and now this. Why can't we be as disciplined, peaceful and law-abiding like the Japanese, Singaporeans or S. Koreans? As the most developed and prosperous country, we Americans are supposed to be the most civilized and well-behaved. Is it bad parenting, worsening education or effects of social media?

    Florida has 23 million residents and greater number of vacationers any given month. It seems like every year crime in Florida climbs and it's going to climb to point crime is out of control.

      It may seem that way but it's not true. All over the country violent crime peaked in 1993 and declined every year thereafter until 2020. It's dropped again since then but not below the 2019 levels yet.

    Florida has always been the top spring break state, I remember in the 80's when it was Fort Lauderdale and the locals finally had enough of the craziness and kicked the kids out, it was insane back then. You can still go there but it's nothing like it once was.

      Fort Lauderdales spring break is 100% busier now then it's ever been. Look on RUclips its so packed. It's a different crowd then in Miami. Miami attracted the ghetto gangsters minded individuals in fort Lauderdale they attracted the average college boys and girls that actually have respect. For some reason Miami attracted all the gang bangers and gangsters from across the country

    Here in New Orleans it's the same thing. Tourists don't want to be robbed while checking into their hotel. Two weeks ago a couple had their truck stolen from the valet two minutes after leaving it. They will never be back.
