Against good players, the only attack that works is the one-handed standing heavy. Pretty much Elden Ring's greatsword crouch poke. Fairly fast, low recovery time, super long reach, but (most importantly) almost NO telegraph. Almost completely unreactable with a bit of lag. This move is why grand swords are almost as popular as Pietas among top PVPers.
I haven't had much success using one of these (they're incredibly easy to dodge and good luck getting a strike off against anyone with dual-Pietas). Maybe on invasions with less skilled players, but if you're getting invaded (more likely to run into high skilled players), you might have trouble. However dual-wielding these is absolute one-shot cancer. Do the multi-hit attack, it causes you to dash towards them, it's very hard to dodge every hit AND does an absolute metric fuckton of damage. You'll get both bleed and smite procs easy, it's just absolutely stupid. The multi-hit attack doesn't use much stamina either, it's completely broken especially if you compare it to dual-any other grand type weapon. The moveset overall is pretty damn good. The run/normal attacks (heavy and light) are at very different speeds but all fairly quick. Easy to get roll catches. My buddy runs with two of the Fallen Lord's Swords with an inferno build. Equally stupid (although the swords are heavier, so he has to go even more naked to wield them effectively). Edit: 6:40 Holy shit, didn't know about that quick run attack combo. Might have to play with it a bit more.
The run attack whiff into normal attack is soooo devastating 😩 and yea definitely its harder to use against better players, it kinda more so turns into predictions at that point trying to just get a hit in predicting when your opponents going to swing and you just try and swing first. You look stupid swinging at nothing when it doesn't work but man when it works its very satisfying!
Best way to handle 2x pieta users is to use your lamp with eye of loash and tank the hit with a charged R2/Heavy. Pieta spammers cant stop quick enough once they realize you didnt die. I do something similiar with polearms :)
It is quite nice and looks much more like the dragonslayer than pretty much any other fromsoft games, although I have been using the Bartholomew hammer a bit and been craving a second one
Whenever I get those clean connection players it's soooo smooth, but unless the devs fix their netcode asap this games gunna crash hard in the PvP department sadly
@@Kranix I mean I'v never been more tempted to call up a studio to tell them to fix there game as I and a few other cant even finish it as bramis castle wont open at all
Tbh it's like 50/50 when a match is super laggy or not, I just put up through the laggy ones till I get these good fights because imo it's worth the wait for how fun this games PvP CAN be
where can i find the pendant and Bramble Ring??? I've been really thorough in my progression through the maps just wanna make sure I didn't miss it along the way.
The bramble ring you find when going down the tower of penance, not sure exactly where but retrace your steps going down it and look in every area. The pendant is just sold by Dunmire the holy dude you first meet when you enter skyrest!
So far this is the only weapon I've seen able to 1 shot so hopefully this gets nerfed asap because I definitely don't want another elden ring PvP system where everything is easy and broken 😭

Everything is broken as long as YOU are the invader....... Not even joking, check the stat buffs invaders get online

the defender sword is a B plus str and radiance and 250 bleed
Ebonlight is also 125 bleed and 150 frost with wither instead of holy with same scaling (same mobs drop both)
Using Ravager Gregory's Sword and so far it does a lot of damage, but unfortunately I three hit people, or at least the one single invader I've fought
Yeaaa that one's got that holy AND wither damage on it, that one's my friends favorite greatsword in PvP so I've been looking to check it out!

Pvp is a mixed bag I think everyone can agree, WHEN IT WORKS its amazing but when it doesbt....its just plane unfair

How did you get so many not laggy invasions?
