Hi between this and the new model (2.1 deep bass) which is better
I 've had the JBL 2.1 soundbar and sub woofer about 2 years, it worked fine then sub woofer stopped working, light did not come on. I ordered a new power cord to see if this is the problem, haven't received it yet. Is there an internal fuse that could have blown? Attempted to remove all the screws from the back plate to check, but it sis not open. Any help would be appreciated.
The problem is unlikely to be in the power cable, yes there are fuses in the power supply but this requires a little knowledge in the area as it is necessary to use a multimeter to test, to remove the rear metal plate just remove the screws and turn the box with the plate facing down so it will come loose (if it doesn't let go, pat it), just hold it with your hands so it doesn't fall.

Hi, for jbl bar 2.1 the model shown in the video has good audio output quality, it is just lacking with the mid range output, it is good with bass and high freq. Any solution would u suggest for that?? I am thinking of to have passive crossover for that, whats ur point of view on this?
Thanks for the comment, in that case you would have to make a modification to the speakers but that would be very complex because you would have to maintain the impedance to maintain the power and still not overload the system, in the case of just adding a passive crossover it should improve but I don't think that would replace a dedicated mid range.

How to connect back the circuit board of subwoofer to the woofer unit?

I have this item and it's subwoofer and the bar would not pair anymore. They both powers on as usual, and soundbar produces sound as expected. Only issue is subwoofer would not pair, have done almost all possible remedies, including manual pairing with all other radios around off etc etc.
Any pointers on how to repair?

Unfortunately the subwoofer's bluetooth card is denified, you have to change it, this problem is common when this happens.

@@nowaconcordia557 Changing the bluetooth card is very simple, as long as you can find it, because depending on the region this is a very difficult mission. I recommend replacing the board.

@@nowaconcordia557 this will depend on your region, here in Brazil you enter the electronics altorizada by JBL. but there is a region that JBL does not act in an official way and only through import, in which case you have to resort through sites like eBay for example.

this version is older, but in terms of sound quality it's practically the same, it doesn't house any kind of gain, I even thought this 2.1 had a small advantage in sound quality and also in bass, but maybe that's just my impression.

@@BlackHorizonGaming_Official It doesn't have equalization modes, but you won't miss it because the sound is very balanced and has a very satisfactory level of bass, for me this Deep Bass is one of the best value for money on the market.

How did you get the subwoofer plate off? I unscrewed but couldn’t get it off.
With the help of a wrench, you can drive the unit out after removing the screws as it is secured with a sealing tape.

Nie, może z tą zmianą stracisz bas, żeby wygrać, musiałbyś zbudować kolejną, większą skrzynkę, a z 8 lub 10 calowym wooferem dałoby to znacznie wyższy bas, nawet używając tego samego wzmacniacza, który dużo zyskujesz, w w przyszłości zrobię filmik z umabyssą pamiętając jak nie jesteście subskrybentami proszę napisz bardzo mi to pomaga.

O modelo bar 2.1 e anterior ao 2.1 deep Bass, porém a potência é a mesma. agora já tem um novo que e o deep Bass mk2 que e o sucessor do deep Bass mas este a JBL ainda não fez o anúncio aqui no Brasil, mas não mudou praticamente nada tbm.

Hi, yes they are similar but I believe that in flip or jbl charge they are long excursion woofers, unlike jbl bar, as you mentioned they are midwoofer.

Amigo, comprei uma dessas fora do Brasil, e duas vezes ela parou de funcionar o Sub, ele fica conectando e desconectando da barra, a luz atrás fica piscando branca. Já fiz de tudo, Reset e Pairing do Sub, nada resolve. Já mandei em assistência mas não constataram problema algum. Ficou funcionando uns 4 meses após voltar da assistência, e agora mesma coisa de novo. Tem alguma ideia?
Cara esse modelo costuma dar esses problemas, no caso tem que trocar a placa wireless que fica na barra de som e no subwoofer pra resolver 100%, ou no caso vc pode tentar abrir ambos e desconectar tanto a placa wireless da barra de som e a placa wireless do subwoofer e depois reconectar, as vezes isso já resolve esse tipo de problema.
@@robsonbraun Faz sentido, vi bastante gente no reclame aqui da Jbl falando que foi feito a troca desta placa wireless. O meu eu tenho a impressão de que o problema é fonte, porque ele sai som, ai apaga a Luz de trás e para de sair som, depois acende novamente, só sai som quando ela acende, e fica tipo piscando. A impressão que dá é de que está faltando corrente na fonte e ele está desligando e ligando repetidamente.
Nesse caso q vc mencionou q o sub desliga assim q para de sair som pode ser sim a fonte, geralmente algum capacitor.

Unfortunately I can't inform you because I don't have this 2.1 Bar anymore but with the help of a multimeter it's easy to do the test and its identification.

It depends on the region, here in Brazil JBL declares 150w rms for this sub (JBL 2.1), but there are other regions that can be different.

Unfortunately this subwoofer only works on jbl 2.1 bar, it is not possible to use it as you would like, to do it you would have to make an adaptation changing the amplifier board for one that accepts cable connection.
@@robsonbraun I watched a video of a guy who actually did it, he removed the wireless receiver and kind of jumped it and it worked.
I believe that I can make this adaptation, yes, but I would have to find the exact point to make this connection of the rca cable, and it is also likely that I have to do some more adaptation because when the wifi card is not connected to the soundbar it turns off loudly.@@JO_Artificial

With the help of a plastic spatula you can remove the subwoofer or the amplifier board.
The subwoofer has another entry what is it for you know
only one that makes the wireless connection to the soundbar, but has a p2 output to add another wired subwoofer.
