This was great to see! I have two 710's and I love them. The bass and overall sound quality is perfect for my events and even personally at home. Light feature is nice also. Thanks for this teardown!
Man, you got a new subscriber. Thank you for this video that I've been looking a lot. I think you're the first to show us the details inside the Partybox 710. I'm really impressed by the long excursion of these woofers and the fact that it has two coolers, cause I thought that was one. I'd like to know which amplifier the Partybox 710 uses, so we can demystify if it really gets 800W RMS or not, because many people come to argue about this.
Thank you very much! I will search for a watt meter so i can test it. In the future i will make some better videos to. I also have a jbl partybox ultimate hire that i will teardown to
@@pixelreflectorpro please explain why this is Not one of the best quality... The Most speakers have no cooling Systems, No Fans or other cooling Sulutions. Capacitors have a Higher durability If you have good Cooling. What is bad in the JBL?
@@TickeHD_HiFi most speakers have a heatsink, what's bad about the JBL is the enclosure is cheap and thin which is not a good thing, the woofers look cheap and it uses terrible paper tweeters. @@pixelreflectorpro I also thought about making my own speaker but with 0 knowledge I got overwhelmed about the enclosure size, chosing drivers, making a crossover etc.
Hey cool teardown. How did you get the back off I’m trying to disassemble one that stopped working. I’m stuck and can’t can’t the back off. I pulled the port ring off and screws all around but something is holding it from coming off. Near the rear controls. Ty
1:29 uhh ye its not cooling it good enough bycose when i have it at 100% the subwoofers start to smell sometimes and its realy hot when i touch the magnet :(((
It is done that way so the woofers have a more straight box behind them for a better low. It has meaning but you have to know Everything from speakers to understand it 😆
@@TheWhiteRaver that maybe the reason but, i thought that plastic wood affect the sound quality, because we alway prefer wooden cabinet rather than plastic 😂😂
Its cheaply made and mass production speaker so you shouldn't expect good quality, jbl lies about RMS power too. But there is a lot of speakers that are even a lot of worse than that. Those LED's, cheap rattling plastic panels, buttons, stamped speaker baskets are clearly not a good idea for a quality speaker... but good look and flashy LEDS's gets new buyers @@Indian_Speaker_Guy

I have the PB 710. The 710 is not good for rock music (the kind of music I listen to mostly), because does not have good mid range output. I would prefer a 3 way sound system.
I agree, the partybox 1000 is a three way systeem so that would be a better choice to be honest. And if you want good sound then you have the buy some real speakers haha
No this is not true, the 1000 lacks in midrange I've owned one before, its sound signature is heavy on highs and lows, the 710 is better than the 1000 for rock and metal, but i own two 310s, and they sound the best for rock music trust me, they are very heavy on mids and sound great tws on stands.

I just love the bare look of a jbl pb 710. No flashy lights, only power.

Did u try removing the volume nob and removing the nuts in there

Did you start tearing this partybox at the back?
Hi nice video, my partybox 710 is getting a little bit hot on the top left...even at low volumes. Do you think it's damaged? Or is it normal?
Mine is getting hot at handle side but only when high volume for more than 15 mins..
May be one of fan is not functional in your case. Get it checked.

Be careful, if you drive these speakers for too long in free air, they might actually get damaged!
