You can also circle the item you wanna erase on the Galaxy. Enables you to use the S-Pen to precisely circle an item or blemish you want to take out. Pretty clutch.
It looked like the pixels was better but I have the z fold 3 and use this feature a lot and in most occasions it works awesome 100% accurate. Some of the pictures you can't even notice where the object were removed. Awesome feature
Are you blind?
Its not that the Pixel 6 is better... its that you looking at the results on a smaller screen.
I have the zfold 3 where is this located because I've tried 3verything and don't have it
@@mikeevans9334 open up any picture in your gallery, then hit the edit button on the bottom, after that on your right top corner hit the 3 dots then go to labs, and turn on object eraser. By default that feature is off. When you turn that feature on, go to any picture and press edit, then select the last icon and that's your eraser icon. Hope this can help you. Have a blessed day
@@eliyamil117 I know now that's why I apologized....thank you
Apple will wait for Sammy and Google to perfect the tech and then put it on iphones and say they did it better 😂
You must be an Eye Fone user🤔

They both do a pretty good job, maybe pixel edging it out a bit in complicated object but Samsung is more easy to use
Naah.
From the looks of the video it looks like the samsung did a better job in both areas
Samsung's easier to edit but the Pixel is somewhat a tad better in parts...
How come my phone don't have it I have s21 and s10 neither have this feature
@@thaguy7732 the s21 does have it
I'm a little surprised that the Pixel wasn't better, tbh. In the Legos, for example, you could still see the smudging of the carpet texture. The Samsung version was comparable, and it's not even a fully-baked feature (it's a Labs feature).
Google will get better over the time. Also I found a research paper from Google where it will see image as human, not the pixels like a machine. Such improvements will eventually make the feature better.
People always jump on the new phone that's out and compare! Samsung is better on this and I think for photography two. Not just basic basic shots.
Samsungs software game is really good and understated.
Great video! The Pixel magic eraser is supposed to work similar to the Samsung one where it'll detect objects and allow you to tap to select so far it either isn't fully implemented or still needs work, but I've only seen it work on pictures with background faces or faces in general
The Samsung beats it in ease-of-use, they're a toss-up in accuracy of content-aware fill (what should be put where), but Google handily beats it in resolution of content-aware fill. That's easily Samsung's biggest weak spot is how it handles texture. They both have work to do, but I do like Samsung's implementation a little better at this point in time.
wtf do u mean they are both just as easy to use. U just circle the object. Lmao
@@mistakd3771 one you circle, and one you just tap on. Obviously just tapping on the item you want to remove is easier than circling the items.
@@joshread3740 One can also circle on Samsungs. It's good if it doesnt automatically pick the right spot (like in the first test here with the brick on the carpet).
I like using the s pen when using the eraser to get a good edge cut out of what I want to disappear... slightly helps
Nice video, thanks for comparing them. I'm shocked at how long it takes to highlight items on the Pixel by comparison instead of a simple tap though. Impressive end results on both though really. I think if the Pixel can nail the tap to highlight with the same accuracy as Samsung it would be the winner overall.
This is so crazy that Samsung had this for a while now and no talked about it. Samsung either does a very terrible job at advertising or US tech reviewers don't say much until apple does it
I've talked about it. Just have to go to the right channel. Also my smaller channel has it. Samsung in a minute
The problem is that you only watch us tech reviewers and/or the wrong ones.
Great info and comparisons.👍
On the Samsung you can also circle! Only just figured it out myself
You're right jimmy... Samsung does a great job😉👍
One thing though; having that screen real estate on fold 3; does make that pixel 6 pro look TINY😂. Can’t believe saying this; as not a fan of the folding phones; OR camera bumps on back (imo, rather have flush cameras in back of my phone….even if means my phone is a “bit more chunky”; I’d take that than the camera bumps w/ no flat back).
Both did good I do have the Z fold 3 love using the object eraser with my Spen very nice.
I'd say the fold 3( because I want one ...That Pixel 6 looks cool also. Thanks JIP
would be interesting to compare it to something like Touch Retouch, which has been this for quite a while (and doing it pretty damn well).
Any chance you could share these images, so that we can run some comparisons for ourselves (and compare it to your results)?
jesus the Samsungs so good at it, its genuinely kind of unnerving
Very Cool feature 👍
10:54 Honestly that one might be too hard for the Erasing Tools on both phones. Both pictures looked awful
Use a stylus not your finger for more accurate results but the Samsung Fold is better. And all Samsung had to do was update the gallery. And Samsung didn't make a whole song and dance about it either...geez I'm savage!
So, can't i download the APK and install it on my Samsung? or am I way out in left field?
I would love to see the Google enhancer vs Samsung remaster on photos
I like Samsung, but TBH Google did it better!
However, I expected way much more from Google, with its Image processing & new Tensor Chip etc... etc...
It's the ZF3 for me
Should compare it to Photoshop, Lightroom and Snapseed
hey, can we get an update on helium miners?
the other day i did a very limited onject eraser test vs the magic eraser and samsungs object eraser worked better in my very limited test.
why didnt you just put the pixel in landscape mode instead of panning around
It doesn't work in landscape mode. It always rotates back to portrait. Kind of annoying
Both are good. Pixel works slightly better
I appreciate you enjoy viewer's feedback, but as someone who can directly see which device erases better it is important to know what YOU think. We see the devices through RUclips, you see the devices in person.
why do I not have the Object Eraser tool on my samsung phone?
I can use both of them anyway
by ease samsung fold destroys and accuracy is really good some pics google pixel wins but other fold wins so overall I think with ease better I think the fold
NOTE 20Ultra beats both
@@DENVEROUTDOORMAN u know note 20 ultra and any new Samsung phone has same software right?
It's better for crowd removal on the pixel
Hey remember when Samsung created the option to use two apps at once for their Note series then then google liked it so much they copied it and made a core android feature. Now I wonder where they got this idea? And the best part is this time they will not share this technology with other manufacturer. 😏
You act like this is new lol. Every company copies off one another. It's not a bad thing imo
@@yoshatabi you act like judging other people's orginal opinion in a pessimistic way makes you look cool. Lol. It doesn't
@@puffinpie that's quite a reach. I literally don't care about looking cool but feel free to think that
@@yoshatabi "I don't care about looking cool" is that the best you could come up with?
@@puffinpie sure buddy
Don't guess this feature is available on the US AT&T version yet. :(
Samsung Android 11 Une ui 3.5 I think ,Google P Android 12
Kinda irks me the way he would go back and retry the edit on the Google several time but only gave the Samsung one chance to get it looking good. On the Google he had to undo and retry several times.
Kind sir,
May I inbox you I got an image example for your attention and see if you can help me with it
I'm sorry it has to be this way
I don't have a phone that can run the app.
Samsung should update it a bit more
Fold 3 is better
The screen is really dull on the Google. Might cancel my preorder
The Pixel 6 is better if you're ready to put in the work. So, I guess the average Joe will prefer the Galaxy.
How bout Xiaomi
4:18 interesting compare; as the images weren’t “edited” at all; and I’m guessing for both that if we’re to edit image before removed an item…..results would be slightly better (maybe 🤔) on both…….
It looks like it's so hit or miss on both that this feature should only be used in worse case scenario because nether is perfect
just use S-Pen on Z Fold 3
Samsung's stuff is always so unpolished. Also it's named so similar to default apps you might have 3 texting apps on one of their phones. Two galleries... It's a pain.
The object eraser on the z fold is easier to use I think
Nope
Yep
They trade blows
Samsung's easier to edit but the Pixel is somewhat a tad better in parts...
It's weird how samsung uses an older gen chip to do processes that the newer gen chip the pixel phones can do lol
Nope not wierd at all
You can use pixel eraser feature even on the shittiest android!! Its not chip related
This has nothing to do with chips lol
This guys inability to draw around an object in pixel is painful. bloody hell zoom in and draw around the object properly
Pixel 6
Pixel 6 better
I changed my mind in some situations s21 is better
Samsung is easier to use, Pixel does a better job.
You are taking the Mick with the amount of ads in your video. Ruined it.
Google does a better job
Samsung appears quick and easier
They both look bad. Your better off going into Photoshop express with premium features
google 2
samsung 1
1 draw
Vaya zoquete el tio del video, entre manos pequeñas y bastante poco habil.....
google magic eraser work better just because google has all that AI data built in .
I think Samsung does it better.
LMAO, it funny how Samsung does it better with the ease of use.
Android 12 and Pixel 6 is a total feature rip off of One UI. Fact. And not even made better as can be seen here.
GOGGLE PIXEL IS THE KING OF SOFTWARE
Not this time
If you care about software get an iPhone , if you care about hardware but not the chip get Samsung. If you are a virgin but a phone from a search engine company
@@PanosPitsi I care more about Samsung software tbh. IOS is a buggy mess.
@@carver9312 ios is anything but buggy. Not as future rich as other alternatives ? Yes. Buggy or poorly optimized? Never, especially compared to android. If you used it for a month you would have never said this. Anyways my point is that nobody should buy a pixel ever unless google changes everything about it. I see Samsungs appeal with the huge screens styluses 100x zoom 108mp but pixel ? Come on
@@PanosPitsi do you have a Twitter account? I would like to prove you wrong.
The pixel looks way better lol. The tensor AI flex
