I like the layout of the Apple Vision Pro case better. I traveled with it last week. Unfortunately, it’s not indiscreet, I’ll give it up to this case it is a little bit more discrete.
Thank you! 🙏 All things being equal and if pushed to choose one, honestly, I’d pick the Apple. The design and aesthetic just speaks to me and screams future-looking tech inside. If you want to be low-key, then the Spigen is the way to go. Luckily I won’t have to choose since I am keeping both 😉
@@ReyG_HKSH Great choice! I totally agree, I love everything Apple. I think the Apple branded case looks really appealing and having it on the Vision Pro would definitely show off your style. I bought the Vision Pro on the day of its release and have spent over 20 hours watching RUclips videos of people sharing their experiences with it. While I initially thought it was going to be an amazing gadget, after considering all the pros and cons, I found it hard to justify keeping it. I ended up returning it today without even opening the box or trying it out. I might consider buying it again if it becomes available on the refurbish site.
One big disadvantage to the Apple case, aside from its outrageous price, is that it won't be long until the entire population will instantly know what is in there. I would be using the Spigen case except that it has recently become "unobtanium".
Exactly!!! My paranoia is such that I took it somewhere and placed the $200 Apple case inside of a shopping bag to hide it. Then there's the TSA where you place it on the belt to travel alone until you get to the pickup side.
$80! Been buying vr cases for year that’s crazy for 3rd party. So many cheaper option. Looks nice tho. But most vr cases fit. I tried all 6 of the ones I have for meta quest and it fit in nicely with all
If you look at the shape the Apple case is bigger by volume due to the more circular shape whereas the Spigen is more pointed reducing volume and making it easier to fit in a backpack.
I find the Apple case ugly. The fact it appears to be wrinkled bugs me. I would also like to see how stain resistant the Apple case is over a longer period of time.
I bough case on Aliexpress for just 13$ because my wife said that it will be perfectly protected in it, forgotten in a drawer of my basement, in few weeks or so, in good company with my older VR headsets.
@@ReyG_HKSH I didn't receive it yet but it's called Hard Shell Case For Apple Vision Pro, so I hope it does. They sell front covers too (Note that 13$ is the price with a delivery to Singapore, maybe it's more expensive for the US).
Hey great review!! Thank you for the size comparison, I honestly thought it would be smaller or thinner. I see it as an alternative if you don’t want to pay $200 for an Apple case.
The OP case is pretty much useless if you wanna actually travel. It doesnt fit any thing else than the basic setup and most people tend to actually take a 27.000mah battery with them to enhance their experience while being on the go. I like seeing how many third-party options are popping up and conquering this actual problem. The use-case (pun intended) is limited by the flexbility to take it with you in everyday life. The smaller and more versatile the setup becomes, the more likely it is for people to actually take it with them. So not exactly a smart move from apple making this a show-case product case with an actually portable spatial computer. Well, just because it's apple doesnt mean they necessarily have to have good marketing, right.
"Apple doesn't want you to bend"" ??? you could have made this video much shorter but the slow movement and nonsensical comments throughout made this a 15 minute review. yikes! i'm a no body so this comment will get buried anyway but i chuckled with all the side comments of this video...
Can it fit with the battery plugged into the vision pro?
Check the video 😉
Spigen always comes through with the best case alternatives! Thanks for the video, I was wondering about this one.
Spigen always has great offerings. 👍
Don't forget SupCase there good too.
Thank you! This is what I was looking for 👍
Glad you found it useful!
Waterfield makes a case for the A V P as well.

I have an upcoming trip and I’m hoping I can fit one of these cases into a larger backpack.
This is super nice. I heard Tumi is creating a 500$ case. I think I’ll get that
I actually like Tumi bags but $500 is too steep for me. Maybe I’ll catch it at outlet. 🤓
I enjoyed the review, Rey! I also like the pace of the video. Which case do you see yourself keeping if money is off the table?

how did you get yours already? It says preorde rand I gotta wait 30days
I ordered it the same day as the AVP pre-order on Amazon, so it was likely part of the initial batches to get delivered.

Cool! Do you have any recommendations for a smaller case for the AVP?
Good thorough review as always.
I appreciate that, thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. 🙏
Try the Meta Quest 3 hard case.
I thought I’d like the Klasden, but it doesn’t protect the lenses the way that Apple’s case does.
The Apple case is also more than double the price. Klasden is a good low-cost alternative.
Thank you!
You’re very welcome! Thanks for watching! 🙏
I think a pelican case is the way to go.
I thought it was much smaller than the Apple case.
I thought it would be slimmer than the Apple case but there really is not much of a size difference.
If you look at the shape the Apple case is bigger by volume due to the more circular shape whereas the Spigen is more pointed reducing volume and making it easier to fit in a backpack.
Kinda glad I didn’t go for this. The wakefield case is the only one that’s made me regret buying my current one.
I find the Apple case ugly. The fact it appears to be wrinkled bugs me. I would also like to see how stain resistant the Apple case is over a longer period of time.
Correct!
I love the aesthetic of the Apple case personally. I think its style is unmatched.

Does that $13 case work with the Vision Pro?

@@ReyG_HKSH It fits well with the front cover off so it’s not ideal.
Spigen's zippers are much easier to use than Apple's.
I actually prefer the zippers on the Apple case, the plastic tassels won’t scratch anything if I place the case in a larger bag.

Definitely a lower cost alternative. Can’t go wrong with either IMHO.

still too big
He’s a terrible salesman if he was selling this to me this is terrible
👍
