Thank you for these amazing solo travel tips! 💕If you’re a solo traveler, what are your tips? Leave them in the comments! ✈️
I’m doing my first big solo trip to Amsterdam this month and I’ve been binging ALL of your videos. You’ve been so helpful, even just to ease my nerves, so thank you! ❤️
Hi Kristen! Yay! So exciting! Congrats! 🥳I hope you have a great time in Amsterdam. Enjoy every minute. Aww! Thank you for watching! I’m so glad they’ve been helpful. 💕
I'm leaving to Europe next Monday for my first big international solo trip for 3 months! Really excited and your videos have helped me a lot. Thank you!
Hi Rebeca!! YAY!!! I'm so happy for you! Thank you for watching. Have the best time ever on your trip. What an adventure you will have. Safe travels! 💙💜
How did it go?
@@sarahrose9944 thank you for asking! Simply the best experience of my life so far. I've learned a lot, met amazing people on the way, had a lot of fun and seen beautiful things! Doing it again next year ASAP!
I usually do one day on the hop on hop off & keep the maps. Not every city but big cities. It provides a layout of the city. I take bamboo cutlery & a camping/lay flat Tupperware or ziplock bags. It makes so easy to pack a lunch or take leftovers home. I do STEP. I also look at the local police number and location closest to my accommodations.
Love this so much! It's so helpful. Thank you Kat for always providing helpful tips and insight! I hope you are well! ❤🧡
@@KRodCollective thank you for acknowledging my comment! I am planning for my next adventure. I’m taking my mom and sister to Italy for Christmas and Barcelona for New Year’s.
Looking at Google street maps is KEY! Sometimes you might be looking up a spot that’s only a 10 minute walk away from your hotel, but the area that you have to walk through is super dark, sketchy looking, etc etc and then you have to end up calling an Uber
Yessss!! Exactly! There’s a world of difference btwn a 10 minute sketch walk and a 10 minute walk. 😂
I’m leaving for my first European solo trip at the end of the month. You’re videos are really helping me to prepare. Thank you!
Awww yay!! Thank you for watching, I’m so glad they have been helpful. Have a fun trip! 💕👏🏾
so glad i found this video, im going on my first solo trip this may, super excited and glad we have resources like this available online
Yay!! So exciting! I hope you have the best time. You’ve got this! 💕Safe travels!
I’m loving your videos. I know you it’s geared to female solo travel but the tips are great and applicable to everyone! I have travelled the US and Europe solo and not having a buddy to lean on requires skills!
Hi!! Aww thank you! It sure does and I love that more and more ppl are stepping out on their own. Safe travels! 💕
Here’s a travel tip! For all! Put a privacy screen protector on your phone so people can’t see if you are using maps on your phone to get around. Just keep glancing when you know your close to a turn or a destination. That way you don’t look like a tourist. And hey every so often place a text to a friend. Give a safe phrase that they will know your walking around and just send back something so know one will know. Also when I was in Rome we we’re coming back from the beach. My daughter and her friend let me know a man was following us and had been eyeing her friend on the train. I immediately popped into a store found a female worker and and told her. Her and a male employee followed me out and I showed them the man. He saw us and I pointed him out. We then stayed for about 30 minutes and we checked no guy and we went on. But I did keep looking back every so often to make sure.
Hiiii!! Love this so much!! Thank you for sharing with us! I have a privacy screen on my phone and it's the best thing ever. Such great tips! Thanks again! ❣
Thank you for the STEP program advice! This will be my first international solo travel trip to the UK. I'm used to traveling all over the US. Some advice I've heard is you can down load google maps so if you loose internet connection you will have it on your device as long as nothing happened to your device.
Hi Sylvie!! Yes!! So true! This is a great tip. I am the worst at this because I always forget to do this. But it's so helpful! I hope you have the best time on your trip! 🎊💕
I’ve gotten in the wrong lyft before so always check the license and ask their name.
😬😬😬Thank you for this!
STEP works for Bahrain.😊
Yesss!!! Love that! 💕
Look for BUGS and THUGS😮😮
Bugs and thugs, always! 😂
