Just a technical note from when I started watching: It seems that your game audio source is set to mono, dont know if it is on purpose but its definetly noticeable.

It isn't, but I will look into what you might be hearing. No one has mentioned anything, and I am currently on chapter 7 haha. Thanks for commenting!

@@firemasterluke I have good earing for audio, sometimes a blessing, sometimes a curse. I was supposed to drop in your stream mid chapter 5 ending, on a raid by TorqueOS, but I didnt make it as it was too late in the evening, I tried to head there to watch it but the VODs aren't there so I will wait for the YT videos ;)

@@firemasterluke A good example is at 2:54 during the clock ticking cutscene on the opening cutscene, on your video the clock is in mono like the rest of the cutscene. If you look for the XC3 opening cutscene on YT you can hear that the clock echo ticks in an alternating way between left and right speakers.
It might also be the way you are exporting the video, with 1 audio channel. Its a tiny detail but noticeable. The worst thing with mono audio is that the L and R channels are simply overlapped when converting to mono, and voice acting usually gets louder because it sums up the audio from L and R (voice is natively present on L and R), but every ambient sound that is stereo gets reduced as is only present in one side. This creates an unbalance on the overal game audio, thats what triggered my "hmm, something is strange with the audio"
Im only commenting this as it might be a quick fix, and it will generally improve the quality of your videos in the future :)

@@vascotech88 Thanks for commenting and finding me after the raid! So far I looked into everything you mentioned and I have nothing set to mono, even my exports. I watched 5 other videos on the intro and they all sound the same as mine. The only thing I maybe changed was the audio environment settings in game. I changed those to headphones at some point in my playthrough, but I don't remember what it was set as before. Perhaps I need new headphones too. But I really do appreciate you sharing.
