I think they thought it would be fun for the kids.
And some people actually enjoy spending time with their kids...
I don't really understand why people buy these storage containers when they have no idea what they'll find, but maybe if I had a ton of expendable income I'd understand.
But if I were to do something like this I'd definitely include the kids.
It could be a fun family day if you did it right.
Like if they were spending time with the kids instead of focusing on filming and narrating for the video.
Seems like a strange way to spend your hard earned money to me, but that's just me.
I know some people love surprises and treasure hunting and maybe think there'll be something really valuable inside, but I feel like we have enough of our own accumulated possessions without going through someone else's stuff, and stuff that they put in storage which probably means that they didn't need it when they moved to a retirement home or it was just a bunch of clutter taking up space.
      But each to his own.
This the first time I've watched this show and it will be the last because it's kind of boring - more so than I expected.
I don't really see the point of digging through other people's unwanted things, but like I said, each to his own.
If it was all books I'd be ecstatic though.

Once again you and your mom do such a great job together. Besides showing amazing storage units, you also show viewers what a great relationship a parent and an adult child can have. This locker is really amazing. At 18:57, I think you have already made your money back and then some!!

If you ever come across knitting needles, please let me know. I would love to buy them. Also, I realize that when people comment, sometimes they give constructive feedback. I know kids can get under foot and sometimes they think your mom needs help with the camera. By the way, your mom has developed awesome camera skills.
Here is my response to you all. I would give almost anything to have my parents for just one more day. By keeping this set-up that you have, you are hopefully inspiring others to spend more quality time with their families. Regarding the children, they need time with both parents and grandma. You are teaching them about the value of hard work. You are showing them that families can work together, and you are inspiring them to have a strong work ethic. Yesterday, my kids were babies and they all turned into grown-ups. I do not understand how that happened so fast!!

I think when I watch these videos, I always wish to see them take all the merchandise out of the locker, take to another location, THEN unpack everything, put it in categories and figure out pricing. That would be so much more satisfying then seeing folks peeking into boxes to what is inside while unpacking the storage locker. But that’s me. I love the whole process but I want to see all of it.

Then his kid runs directly into his fathers path causing him to suddenly dodge around him.
If he had lost his grip while dodging a kid who loves running directly where you wanna step next.

How sad, its someones heartache. It made me think of a lady I know whos husband has left her, everthing she ever owned in the world went into storage because she had to leave her home. Its been in there so long that the manager wont let her in until he is paid thousands of pounds. All her photos of her children and personal paperwork is in there too. Poor soul. I can only hope that when it is eventually sold that a kind soul will want to make sure that she gets the photos back.

I have bought a dozen or so old storage units, i was lucky to break even on most of them...a few i lost money. I would have loved to have 1 of them to be as good as this one!!!!!!

I think he has a tremendous amount of patience with his little boy. Very kind and loving to his mom. His wife is probably at work and there was no one to watch the little boy because he wanted his mom to film this video for us to watch.

Wow FUN !! I just won my very first auction 2 weeks ago, alot of work but so exciting !! :) I was just thinking how much easier it might have been for you if you had a little dolly to stack those boxes on and roll them down that hallway to your truck several at a time :) I felt bad for you walking back and forth for each box ...

This is the first time I've seen your video. Great locker! However I couldn't help but think how much better off you'd be if you carried a hand truck, dolly and a step ladder. You're causing yourself a whole lot of extra work. I'm glad there weren't any boxes that fell on your babies head! Take care.

That poor kids munching on something at 18.01. They were too focused on the crappy perfume bottles to notice. #1 reason not to involve little kids in storage unit reveals. People sometimes put mothballs to deter rodents and moths. That bed rail the tyke grabbed could have fallen on his head or any of the loosened boxes when he was mucking around in there.
It's one thing to bring your kid wherever you go to expose them to different experiences...it's another to watch them like a hawk when they are around hazards. Glad they all survived this fiasco of a reveal.

Sometimes the comment section can be full of the angriest people with the most useless things to say about everything except what the video is about
Which is a storage locker and what it might hold. A treasure hunt, who doesn't love a treasure hunt. I thought the lady was nice company. Leave the baby with a sitter next time just to be safe though, plus you'll get a lot more.
    done. Thank you for sharing.

Those antique armoires/dressers that have the jewelry organizer/drawers up top (men would place rings watches, cuff links, etc. women would place there jewelry as well, but there’s usually a pair for his and hers) so many of those antiques have false bottoms. Definitely Make sure to check antique chest of drawers, dressers, hanging closets, desks, etc bc they usually have hidden areas.

It looks like a shopper hoarder. Someone that shops as an addiction but never wears the clothes. My friend Julie's Aunt was like that. And she used to rent storage units to keep the clothes in when she could no longer fit them in her house. She lived in Eugene. You guys really scored there. - Sussie from Deschutes, OR (born and raised!)
