Awesome Book explanations! Love the way you recommend your books. I can feel myself getting pumped to read Princess of Souls. Also I saw this book on goodreads giveaway called A Wolf in the Palace: A Polyamorous Story. I want to read it but I'm afraid its gonna be a dud. Please could you do a book review on it cause the the book cover looks really pretty and innocent but the summary is suspenseful. So far your recommendations have always been spot on!

Rachel you need to read "daughter of the pirate king" it's like to kill a kingdom but way better. The enemies to lovers is one of the best I ever read and the sea/pirate vibes are soo good. Trust me you won't be disappointed

The best book I read in June was Barbara, by Jorgen-Frantz Jacobsen. It was adapted into a Danish-language film as well. It's a tragic romance between a pastor and a twice-widowed seductress, and the writing is sublime. The film, available on Netflix, is brilliant as well. After watching it, I decided to purchase this book. It's so good that I'm reading it again.

I only read four books in June because I was SO busy with the wizard of oz rehearsals and finals. But my average rating was a four and I enjoyed all the books I read. My favourite book of the month was Vow of Thieves.

Great wrap up❤. I'm currently reading Not in love and I'm liking it so far though my opinion might end up changing later on because spice isn't usually my favourite thing in books.
My favorite books this month were One Summer in Savannah and Demon Copperhead. They both had some real heavy topics, but the writing was beautiful and they made me think of things I normally wouldn’t think about.

My favorite June read was The Rule Book by Sarah Adams. Her rom-coms are just hitting right this year, and I love the silly sweetness of her books.
I read Jasmine Throne in June and loved it! Definitely my favourite book of the month

Hi Rachel!! I'm currently reading the Final Empire and, eventhough at first I didn't was into the book (bc I've been reading Sarah J Maas for son long and I had to get used to other writting stile), right now I'm THRIVING throughout this book. I really recommend you to start July with this one ❤

My favourite book that i read in June was DEFINITELY 'The Other Side' by Kim Holden.... Omgosh that book WILL stick with me forever. 😭😭💖
So far this year June has been my best reading month with me reading a total of 15 books. I can't pick one but some I really enjoyed reading were Funny Story by Emily Henry and the King of Sins series by Ana Huang.
You totally sold me on “Out On a Limb”. I need a book with a differently-abled protagonist for a local bookshop’s summer bingo board, anyways 😁

My favorite read was I Hope This Doesn't Find You by Ann Liang. I've been going around recommending it to everyone lol it's academic rivals/enemies to lovers and the writing is so so so beautiful
I always find it funny when people compare this summer will be different to happy place, it’s literally two different books where the plots couldn’t be more different. But bc there is themes of summer and friendship involved, it’s like oh this is the same book 😂😂😂

Here's the thing about the similar book that you enjoyed versus the Carley Fortune book: enjoyment is important to a rating in my opinion, but if you think that the other book is better, then lower the CF book rating since you don't think about it too much. So I think 4.25/5 stars is still good in my eyes.
Its ok that it says july guys. We know what she meant. It would be probably a lot of trouble to take this down, fix it, and re upload.

My favourite books in June were "Beartown" by Fredrik Backman and "Nettle & Bone" by T. Kingfisher. I had high expectactions for "Beartown" since I had only heard great things about it. I can confirm now, that all the positive reviews are correct, a 5 star read for me. "Nettle & Bone" was a suprise for me, it takes motives from fairytales (princess, fairy goodmother) and makes them into something new. It had a lot of depth, emotions, was sometimes painfully real, yet somehow it was also really funny. A truly unique book.

ive never read a carley fortune book but do they have like lots of spice in them because her new one sounds intriguing and i'm not a huge fan of lots of it in books.

You know, the first, and only, book I’ve read from this author is Every summer after and LOVED it. Then a couple of months later I read Love and other stories after been standing on my TBR-shelf for ever. And the similarities between the books is ridiculous because… it’s the same book. It dosen’t make it your own work just because you switch small things between the characters. I was so disappointed. So, I am really sad to hear that she does it again. I mean what about copyrights…
