Folk, cajun, arabic, greek, turkish, blues, rock 'n' roll. 'Beacon from Mars' was a favourite of mine all those years ago. There's lots of great stuff on their records. Live they were supposed to be absolutely wonderful and way out there! Unfortunately, we won't see those times again, or musicians like David Lindley.

My first concert was Jackson Brown in 1977 at MPP, where Jackson and David recorded Stay/ the Load Out. Was hooked then, been amazed by this man since. From El Rayo Ex, to his solo tours, to the absolute magic he created with Hani Naser, he was always fresh and funny! And those shoes 👞 !!!!!!

David is just about the most under-appreciated musical genius on EARTH. I've seen him many times, alone and in other people's bands, and it still isn't enough. Get after it, Mr. Lindley. What would Jackson Browne do without you? Not much.

Yes! We had the same Flamenco guitar teacher, Henri Bison. I had the privilege to meet him. He could play any instrument and sing!

I heard Mercury Blues in a venue in Stockholm around when that LP came. I was knocked to the floor, literally.
