As an american ESC fan I agree, if I wanted to hear american sounding english language music there's a billion song competitions to watch... I love to hear different languages and styles of music and see different countries and cultures!!!
You guys can't believe how much excited I am for our three hosts: Laura Pausini, Mika and Alessandro Cattelan ❤️ And for having back again Mahmood and Blanco! 🇮🇹 Eurovision 2022 is gonna be fantastic, that's for sure.
What I like about Mahmood representing again is that he didn’t need to; his career is going really well, he did amazingly last time, he could’ve just settled and yet here he is continuing to compete and with an incredibly beautiful song. I’m excited for this year.
I don't think Italy plans on winning this anyways. He knows it's just for fun this year. No country would want to splurge the money on the contest twice in a row. (Except maybe Sweden)
I somehow feel like Mahmood would've participated in San Remo regardless of the Eurovision. It is THE stage for him to be on and grow further. Besides the Eurovision itself has also proven in the recent years that it is improving and serving us a quality show. Look at Maneskin who has conquered the USA after winning the Eurovision. I see no reason as to why Mahmood would not want to take part again in either of San Remo and Eurovision

I am italian and I think that Eurovision is going to change a lot after Partecipating of Flo rida... hooverphonic... and this year The rasmus. It is going to become the goal of international artists already have a long career back.
I'm hoping that this is a year for comebacks for countries that didn't do great last year and a year where countries that rose above the odds last year can keep the momentum going. I already have a good feeling that Latvia and Poland are making their way back to the final, and I wouldn't be too surprised if they had company from North Macedonia, Croatia, Ireland, and the Czech Republic should all go well (I also have high hopes for Montenegro, but we won't know 'til we hear it, now will we?). We have less than half of the lineup on the way and 2022 is already looking to be spectacular!

I absolutely love Lithuania's entry this year, a beautiful song that feels like someone flirting with the past. The Lithuanian language feels so magical in a good way that makes it even better. Can't wait to listen to Ukraine's song, it seems to be once again close to Ukrainian culture and I'm so excited (to anyone in or from Ukraine I'm so sorry with everything that's going on) Besides that give that wolf a banana is the funniest and I'm excited to see how far they get, I wouldn't even be mad even mad if they won (I am a bit sad that hammer of those didn't get in but I will admit despite the gorgeous voice, the space wolves just bring more fun)

We proudly donate for pets, etc.). Government started sending both, military and humanitarian aid from the day 1. On every saturday a "camp" for refugee children will be held so they can, you know, stay children.
