The consistent swell in Barcelona is quite substantial, a lot more than Auckland NZ, being able to fly and manoeuvre well is a compromise between ride height and steer-ability. I think it’s too soon to condemn Britannia just yet though, she doesn’t look quite as svelte and sleek as the Italians but as yet we’ve no head to head comparison. Ben Ainslie needs to deliver, he is in danger of becoming “nearly there but never quite there Ben”, aka Tim Henman.

during maneuvers the hull touches the water too many times... ineos seems clumsy and not very agile.
