- Hey guys! Today we are trying out some new makeup I picked up recenlty from Ulta! I've got both high end and drugstore, and I had some really mixed results with these! A few were major wins- an amazing cream blush and a fabulous metalic eyeshadow palette! But a few were just... strange. I'll get into it in the video:) I hope you enjoy this one! Hey Mandy! Love the video! Cake eyeliners were used by my mom; she was 79 when she died 16 years ago. Maybelline's was probably the most well-known; I think it was basically the same as the cake mascara, maybe a little lighter in tone. I love so many of the products you're using here - especially the J.Cat! Happy Whatever You Celebrate!
Hi Jen. My mother used the Maybelline cake liner in the 60s. It came in a small red rectangular box which housed a drawer with the liner and brush

The Hueglow is also skincare, contains squalane which makes it seem oily. But it does set down so it doesn't look as shiny once the "oily" part dries. I let it dry for a long time before applying my base, or just underpaint on my hihg points.
I love the Flower eye shadow palettes! I have the Coastal and the Desert palettes. I love the shimmers!!
Mandy, a suggestion--use the Nabla blush to color your lips, then add the gloss on top.
I love Live Tinted! They are an amazing South Asian woman-owned brand. I haven’t played much with the Hueglow, but their sunscreen is my absolute favorite, and I also recommend their glosses and new concealer.

You are a breath of fresh air. There are a few content creators on here that I just can’t go along with.
There speech is so fast I can’t keep up.
They wear some same exact tones or colors and smear them all over their wrists. Full speed ahead and I have no idea what product is what. Same with clothes. It’s unbearable and uncomfortable to try and keep up with.
I like that you take your time and you actually name the product so I can see it. Anyway
I probably need to take a break and pick a couple times a week to see I’ll learn anything new. Thanks. Your routine is different as you’re much younger. Anyhoo…❤

You can use the balm as a blush. I have a PF balm for highlighter and love it. Just tap it lightly over the blush with the pads of your fingers higher up and it’ll make your highlighter pop too

I can see why people get upset about the comments. She mentions everytime in the videos to leave your suggestions or what you tried. So naturally people are expecting for the her to engage in the comment section. Personally i just like watching her videos for entertainment purposes. But it makes you wonder why she hasn't really grown her channel . The blush and bronzer did not blend ok on the cheeks though
Can’t you use that cream blush as almost a lip stain and the balm as a lip moisturizer on top? Using a nice lip liner to keep it all in place?

Help on the way! Use hypochlorous acid as your step in morning after gently washing your face. I like using Olay birch water foaming cleanser. I also use Dr. Sam Ellis products Prequel and Naturium Susan Yara's products and also Neutrogena Skin care products.
Dr. Sam Ellis has a RUclips video in which she explains how to use Hypochlorous Acid.
I know once you incorporate this step you will have a lot less breakouts.
I'm a sugar addict too. It's one of the hardest things to give up!

Re the runny nose, Mandy: I have the same situation - turns out it's called "rhinitis" where your nose just runs like a tap for no reason. I was put on to a spray (once or twice a day) - Ipratropian - which works like a charm. When I asked about side effects, the dr told me the only one he could think of was if I maybe poked myself in the eye with the nozzle. Ah science. Great video, as ever. Really love the drugstore buys. Wishing you a a wonderful Christmas with your family, and a very happy New Year.

I feel like your blush got a little muddy somehow and your undereye concealer was disappearing in the inner corners. The eyeshadow & lips are beautiful!

The curse of the forever runny nose... Especially after the pandemic, EVERY TIME I bring out a kleenex: "Oh, are you SICK?!". No. I am just always runny. And sugar is my only drug :D

You need to fix your gut to help your nose. Try add acid - like drinking apple cider vinegar diluted in water or betaine. ♥ Elle

I don’t understand why you tube creators don’t answer questions as commented by another viewer. Personally I think it is offensive to not read and reply when most questions could be answered in 30 seconds.

Most probably, you have congested sinuses hence runny nose.
I agree, post nasal drip likely from some kind of sinus infection, hay fever, or even reflux. Sugar is in so much and not everyone has a runny nose 😀

She does read them! When I click on your profile, and everyone who responded to you, she uses the heart button. She is definitely my favourite beauty creator and I understand if she can't reply to all the comments she receives.
I am sorry but the cheeks with the bronzer and blush doesn’t look nice. Maybe it looks better in person but on camera very grey patchy and not nicely blended.
