hey guys! i’m an anime-only as well so this isn’t a spoiler, but sumiyoshi isn’t tanjiro’s father. his father’s name is tanjuro, so it couldn’t have been tanjiro’s memories. we don’t exactly know who sumiyoshi is and his relation to tanjiro, but i’m gonna assume he’s an ancestor since they look so much alike. great reaction btw 😊 this season is a wild one!

6:25 well, every Hashira outside of Gyomei and maybe Sanemi would've most certainly struggled, like Tengen, at that point in time. No marks nor Hashira Training.
Actually any other hashira would have been dead from the poison just minutes after being hit, the breathing can help for short time but having the high resistant to it was what made Tengen the best to face Gyutaro. Gyutaro's poison are meant to kill, remember that the antidote Tengen's wives gave him didn't work at all, if it wasn't for Nezuko, Tengen, Tanjiro and Inosuke would have been six feet under now. Gyutaro was just unlucky that Tengen got a high poison resistant that he developed being a shinobi. Gyutaro faced the right Hashira that can counter him. If Tengen doesn't have High Poison resistant, he'd be the 16th Hashira for Gyutaro's list. Even though Gyomie is the strongest, the moment he got hit by Gyutaro's poison, he's done for. But he's probably gonna solo both Daki and Gyutaro and kill them in just a short amount of time, so yeah, maybe only Gyomei can kill them fast enough without getting hit by the poison. I don't read the Manga so I don't know who else among the Hashira has a good poison resistant, Obanai or Shinobu?
@@KillberZomL4D42494 I meant died instead of struggled lol I do believe Gyomei would've survived. MAAAAAYBE Sanemi. You'd have to see their fight to see how good they are, and I don't want to spoil. But at this point in time, no marks or Hashira training, so the rest would def perish. The only other Hashira with poison resistance is Shinobu but she's too physically weak to kill Gyytaro. As for her poison, it would probs be enough to kill Daki, but not Gyutaro.

He definitely respects Kokushibo and fears him too due to his enormous strength. He also lost to him in a blood battle pretty soon.
@KauanFelipe-px1qqyou don’t seem to understand, Akaza has fear for Koku, pretty much every Upper Moon has fear for him since Kokushibo ate more upper moons than Demon Slayers have defeated. That is why he has a name Kokushibo (which basically translates into “Black Plague”). In that instance Akaza was not trembling because of fear, but because he was so annoyed of Douma’s taunts. But do not think that Akaza doesn’t fear Kokushibo’s power.

How can he be tanjiros grandfather ? Also pay attention to the details , Sumiyoshi ( the guy you assumed were tanjiros dad) clearly says that "since you dont have any heirs" which implies that he is the same age as sumiyoshi and also he dont have any kids to pass down his name . He is more of a friend / acquaintance. In a way he is kinda related to tanjiros ancestor (sumiyoshi).
None of the upper moons are 1000+ years old only muzan is and kokushibo has only been around for 590 years
