Chen Long is just too solid... it wasn't that Jan played badly. Whatever he tried to do, CL just had the answers for... what'd usually work against virtually any other player in the world, didn't for CL. He was in the zone that day, and no one could stop him.. his fitness/physical and retrieving ability is amazing
Chen Long is my hero. He is a fantastic player, and does strike fear in his opponents

Agreed two gentlemen of this amazing sport. The pure mastery of very few errors, great touch, control, accuracy, power and overall athleticism worthy of a great final.
Perhaps not the best final ever but among the very best. Lacked a bit of luster and sheer uncanny speed/deception demonstrated in the past by legendary players, yet still enjoyable. 1st seed versus 2nd seed, and could very easily have ended differently. Jan O is right up there and getting to his peak.
Jorgensen is exhausted at 3rd set. Both of them played extremely well.
I'm glad real Chen Long chose to show up by the third game. Before, CL was playing in practice mode. IMO score 21-13 (as it should have stood before JOJ challenged) reflects the true difference in their class.

Despite them both being the top dogs in badminton world, their movements on the court n with the racket lack arts. Comparing to LD n LCW, which their prime-time performances is like watching ballet & figure skating on badminton court.
Derek Fang I thought the same watching this match. LD and LCW will only have a few more years in them, so we should enjoy watching them play while we still can.
am i the only one who misses Lin Dan? Badminton doesnt feel the same without him

For some reason, I always find Jan footwork to be quite awkward. He always seems to scramble for shots.. when the game goes to the 3rd set, there can only be one winner; Chen long. Chen long is too fit to lose in the third set.
