- The BIGGEST English breakfast challenge?! This is a giant fry up challenge failed over 40 times featuring bacon, sausage, eggs, beans, tomatoes, fried bread, buttered bread, toast, black pudding, and mushrooms all served on a giant platter for a 20gpb price tag. Winners get the meal for free, but today we try the impossible food challenge with 80 items weighing in about 6KG! This nearly undefeated eating challenge has 40 items standardly and weights about 3Kg and had a 60 minute time limit, but we doubled this big breakfast challenge to make it the ultimate Joel Hansen food challenge . Can we join the few list of winners or will this be a Joel Hansen fail?

Everything looks good but that's too many mushrooms for me honestly add too many tomatoes. If I do that I'm going to have to take the tomatoes off and just put grits and keep the mushrooms in there

I don't think Adam cares too much on his time, as long as he completes the task. Often talking to patrons and stopping in the middle to take pics. It's not always a competition, he just wants the t-shirt.... and dessert after. Lol.

@@mikeks8181 Coming from England, but now living in Europe, I still NEED my Colman’s English Mustard fix, which can be ordered through Amazon. This mustard is really HOT, unlike French mustards like Dijon or any other mustards found in European Supermarkets.
Perhaps, looking online, you may find some shops, selling UK produce, which I think that you are in the USA, which may have frozen black pudding and Cumberland sausages, which are so different to the hot dog or Weiner sausages found in the rest of the world.

Beard is not a speed eater. he eats at a comfortable pace, he's a finisher mostly--but nobody in a 1-3 person sit down like this, beats Joel...especially if he doesn't do his normal commentary. If Joel just is there to EAT, then he has the after-burners smoke the competition.
Less than a handful of people in the world could do this double challenge....

I grew up with eggs on toast for breakfast.... and I loved it. I continued to ask for it, which made my mom happy because it's easy and cheap! Always over easy eggs.

Beard wastes a lot of time, compared to most, due to talking to the camera, cleaning his glorious beard, joking with his crew. He could definitely knock that out twice (with fewer mushrooms).
i dont think he cares about beating the fastest time, he just wants to have a fun time and finish the meal in the time limit

When I was a child in the 70s and money was tight a full English to me was bacon tomatoes and fried bread and I loved it . Times have changed lol .

You need to get Colemans to sponsor you, where you eat so much English mustard. Beard struggled with his challenge, because he hates mushrooms. I've told him to mix them with the beans or put them between the bread, as a sandwich. That was a lot of food though Joel, so well done. 👏👏
As soon as you pointed out the massive amount of mushrooms I understood why Beard would have struggled with it. I’m convinced he has a slight allergy or something, he said they kind of just sit in his throat and I’m pretty sure he mentioned once that they make him sick after.

That's not how fried bread should be made. It should be lightly fried in a flat frying pan, sometimes in butter instead of oil but certainly not chucked in a deep fat fryer.
