    "The blackest of the black arts in analog electronics" (as CuriousMarc calls microwave tech) or not, it''s so beautiful that this complex (well, said in context!) concept can in fact be seen as an AC voltage divider :).

    You can see from the expressions already obtained that (V3/V0)^2 + (V2/V0)^2 = 1. And by conservation of energy you can conclusively say that V4 =0
