    really i prefer the way you explain here this deduction compared to the one in pozar book, using the scattering matrix definition and not just giving the voltage sources in ports 2 and 3 random values.

    For V3-, shouldn't it be equal to V2+ S32, not V2+ S23? In either even or odd mode, when you do out the s matrix, it's impossible to get S23.
